I used to use MTurk (owned by Amazon). It's a platform with a number of tasks you can complete depending on where you're based, your skill, your performance record when you complete tasks and the number of tasks you complete.

There are all kinds of tasks available because most of them come from various people/businesses with Amazon acting as the middleman.

Tasks include surveys, transcription, proofreading, writing, audio work, etc. If you're based in the US, you have access to more tasks - not so much if you're in the UK (in my experience).

I personally don't think it's worth the time and effort if you're not in the US. There's a steep learning curve and the pay per task can be dire until you reach a task-completion threshold where you have access to more tasks and therefore the chance to make more.

For some folks, yes. But they were phasing in a new thing where some can get paid via bank transfer.

It is very geared to the US. I couldn't even register with a UK address when I tried.

I made about $12 on there in Amazon.com vouchers. I was planning on doing more to get the balance up and buy another voucher I could use, like Spotify or something, but then found an item in Amazon global store with not too terrible shipping. I certainly wouldn't waste my time for anymore .com vouchers, definitely not worth it. BACS though, I would.

Have read that since yesterday you can withdraw earnings in cash now. Might be worth doing for some people now.

It's called Hyperwallet. It acts as the bridge for you to transfer your Amazon earnings to your UK bank account. You transfer your Amazon earnings to Hyperwallet, then Hyperwallet transfers it to your bank account.

You set up your Hyperwallet through your MTurk account (at least that's what I did back then).

Got accepted to join mturk and successfully setup HyperWallet which is now a PayPal owned subsidiary. All pretty straightforward to setup and all done seamlessly by Amazon transferring you to HyperWallet through them. It is an exclusive arrangement, as in you can only receive mturk into HyperWallet and by extension to Ur bank account (done this way by Amazon). Not done any "HiTs"/ jobs. TBH it's all pretty next level. Will need to do a bit of research and learning. But looks to have lots of potential. You are allowed to use scripts and tools to find and lucrative hits, but I think you first need to get a little established and gets your hands dirty with cheap and long tasks. Don't have time right now to get heavy with lol I actually managed to get accepted into mturk in March 2021 and it a quick process. Created the mturk account and HyperWallet (via Amazon as part of the activation process) but I don't want to get sucked into mturk right now, too many other things going on lol.

Hello, newbie here and I know this is a slightly older post but I just wanted to say I love mTurk! Im UK based and whilst it started off as a bit of a slog, once I’d racked up my first 1000 hits and completed lots of qualifying hits then I had more choice and could complete bigger batches of Hits. I mean it’s not a HUGE earner, but it’s easy enough to make a few quid! I’ve also got mine linked to Payoneer and I’ve got a Visa debit card for the account so use my mturk earnings for things like toiletries and little treats!
