So I've spent more time this month doing evaluation tasks, quite a few website tests and a nice little £8 Roamler task. Also did a £10 GrK mystery shop. Earnings are building up nicely.

I've spent some time building pages using Elementor following tutorials on YouTube. I feel much more confident with it now and looking forward to using it for my own designs.

Today I was really pleased to get my first contract finished for the web design project. I've never written a contract for myself before but found some very good guides online. Felt like a big milestone :D

A few exciting things have been happening over the past few weeks.

We had my daughter's first birthday and we celebrated with a big party for her. It was so much fun!

I went back to work and she started nursery. That has all been going well too. Work feels like a holiday compared to childcare! I'm still enjoying my 2 days a week with my girl though.

I finished the first stage of the design for the website. Looks like it will all be finished by Christmas. I'll be invoicing the final payment soon.

I had lots of website tests in October but November was very quiet. However, web search evaluation is going well and I've just found out I've been upgraded to unrestricted status! That means they don't limit the number of tasks I can do. Passed my probation basically!

Got my plans lining up nicely for my new web design business. I've just invested a chunk of my earnings into a decent laptop. Feels like a big milestone! Next I'll be buying a new domain name for my website and designing my logo. Already got something in mind.

There's a great thread I read the other day about starting a web design / digital agency like you are doing the realities of doing that over on UKBF that might be worth a read for you

Really appreciate that, thanks! I'll have a read through this evening :D
No worries.

I was working for an ISP back in 1999 and remember the days of people WRITING to us to tell us which domains the wanted to buy to use alongside their 10mb of webspace which we would charge and arm and a leg for back then!!

Now to buy a domain and setup a website 99% of it is pretty much automated!
