Day 1 of undertaking my new money making ventures while taking care of my 6 month old! She's enjoyed coming out mystery shopping with me today and during feeding her I've been rattling off a few surveys on my smartphone!

Today's tally:

Mystery shopping:
Roamler £10 (for one task, yay!)
Grass Roots £12.50 (plus a couple of freebies from the task)

Surveys:
Surveybods £2
Prolific Academic £1.50

They are indeed still going! Looks like they have been taken over by a company called Hawk Incentives but they haven't rebranded yet.

Another productive day:

WUD £5
Roamler £4
BeMyEye £10
Surveybods £0.25

Missed out on a couple more Roamler tasks because I went to hang out the washing before accepting them! Lesson learned!

BeMyEye have a really quick pub task where you get £1 for taking a photo and noting the address of any pub, then you can get another £4 by going in and doing a quick interview with a staff member.

Day 4
No earnings today, but I did get screen mirroring set up for my phone to do more WUD tests and updated my CV for future applications (if it's needed). Eyeing up a Roamler task for tomorrow.

Day 5

Lots of Roamler tasks today! 5 altogether, netting a total of £19.50.
Good work. Were you able to do them in a sort of 'loop'? That's what I used to do when I used to do FLower tasks and would make about 50 pounds every Thursday just by doing the same route to the stores each week lol

The second one came up while I was doing the first. The final 3 all came up at once so I did those in a route. 50 quid on one Thursday sounds like an absolute dream!

Yeah it was back in the days when Roamler used to pay well for these tasks each and every thursday.

Used to do them from 6:30am till I got to work at 9am lol

Day 7

Spent too much time fighting with WUD and my incapable laptop today but eventually earned £5

Earnings so far: £97.65 which I'm really pleased with considering I'm aiming for £150 this month

Day 8

Been busy today but still managed to do a WUD survey for £5 and got paid £3 by Streetbees for some surveys I did yesterday. A little 5p survey from Surveybods brings the total so far to £105.70

Got my Leapforce application sent off too.

Day 9

Research day so no additions to my total, but I did get some more sign ups done (intellizoom, utest) and made a nice Trello board to organise my mystery shops. Also looking at some roles to apply for on Appen. Finished off the day by preparing for a mystery shop I have tomorrow.

I did sell my old slow cooker on eBay if that counts! £18 - kerching!

Got my new hours agreed with work but it will be 3 days/week. I'm now extra motivated to find the best paid opportunities for my time that I can do while caring for my little one on the other 2 days plus weekends/evenings. I'd love to get some votes on your most lucrative and preferred routes to getting extra ca-a-ash

(NB, I know matched betting is a popular choice but I've pretty much exhausted the sign up offers and eventually got banned from the best bookies despite efforts to maintain accounts well, so this is no longer of interest to me. My husband has got quite into sports trading through the exchange so I'm open to ideas around that )

Day 11

Research day. I have been looking into transcription services as my typing speed/accuracy is good. I found a few sites offering work, but they want you to commit to set shifts and deadlines that mean I won't have the flexibility I need. I did find a site called transcribe me which offered smaller jobs after passing relevant qualification tests so I'm going to investigate this one further.

Got an email from Leapforce to say they accepted my application :D Time to begin the qualifications!

Week 2 day 1

Total from previous 11 days: £124.87 / £150 target, so very pleased with that!

Today's earnings were quite small; £5 for a GfK task. The brief was confusing unfortunately so it took me much longer than it should have done and I wasn't sure if I had met the requirements. I think I did...

Side note: I'm using Trello for organising my mystery shops - it works really well for this as you can set up a card for a job, then attach the brief into it as well as photos and screenshots. It's the quickest way for me to get relevant pictures from my phone (by uploading them via the Trello app) onto my laptop (by downloading them from the Trello website) so that they are available to upload into the survey. I can set dates and deadlines on each card too that integrate with my calendar, and tag then with a label to show which company the shop is for. So far I have lists on the board for jobs applied for, jobs I'm working on and jobs that are competed and awaiting payment.

The rest of the day I cashed out where I could, uploaded all my activity so far onto Quickfile (a free accounting website that I really like), applied to a job on Appen, and had my first webinar from the free digital marketing course that I signed up to.

I need to get into Trello

There's some other work I do that lets me export it to Trello but I've not really looked into the app, really should...
