I've always thought I was pretty clued up about earning a little extra online, I've been doing surveys and product tests for year but since finding the money shed I realise how clueless I've been !

I've signed up to loads of new survey sites, downloaded some money making apps and even got husband to apply for the testing sites like WhatUsersDo & UTest (he works full time but is happy to do extra after work)

My head is spinning with all the opportunities and information on this site.

Last year I managed to pay for almost all of Christmas through earning extra online but this year I want to smash that and pay for it all as well as getting our car back on the road.

This forum seems like a friendly place and I've learned so much already.

The thing is until you find and a community where ideas are being bounced around and opportunities are being shared it is VERY hard to know what to look for online. So most people just find surveys etc and then stop.

The key is without doubt being part of a community of like minded workers. Everyone trying to achieve the same goal (bring in the most money) but each doing it in a different way - you then get exposed to opportunities you didn't even know existed!

Welcome! ;D When I first joined TMS over a year ago there were lots of opportunities here that I hadn't heard of - and at the time I had my heart set on my baby clothing business (which went down the can a bit) and blogging which also didn't go too well!

A year later and there is even more opportunities here now and it'll probably grow! I gave in and started signing up to some of the other opportunities I'd previously dismissed and now I'm actually gaining an income!

Lots of people manage to multitask lots of things but don't spread yourself too thinly otherwise you may find your head spinning some more! It does depend on the amount of time you have - I can only really dedicate 3 hours a day maximum due to having a young daughter and being 8 months preggers but I've still earned about £180 in the last month which is better than the £0 I was getting before!

It's true what you say. The information here is pure gold. I'm spending most of my time here digging for information and yes I have unearthed plenty of gems.

It's important to stay focused and try to concentrate on two or three things at a time. Don't let Procrastination get in the way of a good thing!

sites like leapforce pay quite well, marketforce isnt too bad, can earn up to £20 on some tasks

You're right there are loads of opportunities make money that most people aren't aware of.

I feel that once you're past the information overload stage, its best to focus on one or two things and try an not get distracted (not as easy it as sounds!) This is what I do, although every so often I will look and see what other opportunities are out there.

For me, the first thing I found that offered me significant money, is matched betting. It is literally a goldmine of easy money that you just have to dig out!

I was exactly the same when I was first learning about making money online (I'm still guilty of it now!). I used to find a great opportunity, dedicate like a week to it and then be tempted by something else, then something else... you get the idea!

The best thing I ever did was to focus on one thing and give it 100% of my focus and attention. If I had a pound for every half finished website or project or started I'd be loaded!

I agree - I think focussing on one activity at a time really helps I've been earning money on slicethepie for a while now...really easy and reliable! Find what works and stick at it until you consistently make money, then add a new income stream and repeat!
