Hey all - as it's mental health awareness week I thought I'd blog about it. But the more I thought about it the more I thought this week sucks! So I've penned my thoughts on it but I'd be interested in seeing whether other people agree with me or feel differently?

Good post this. Nothing wrong with having s different view point!

I actually don’t massively like weeks like this as I think not everyone with mental health issues want a giant 100 watt lightbulb shining on their condition when they probably don’t actually want to talk to people about it at that time and maybe feel pressured into it because well if you don’t do it this week no one is gonna to care as much during national left finger week!!

Another excellent point that I hadn't thought about! Work do tend to roll out the mentally ill staff members this week and make them do articles on the intranet etc. I don't do an article for work myself though as I've said I'll only do it if they let me promote money mental. Apparently it's ok to promote MIND but not a staff member's own work!
