Been very lazy this weekend.. I blame the sunshine! Not really done anything for a couple of days and nothing ticked off the top so list. However, I have creeped closer in a few categories. Will get back to it tomorrow..

Decided that I dislike OnePoll.. I know it isn't great for time versus effort, but I used to like it as it was so quick and eventually added up. However, you do have to go to the site and it is running so slow for me these days that I just don't think I can be bothered with it anymore. Will have to get to the next cashout though as am on £25 out of £40 needed and will dump that one.

Gone off OnePoll too. Though saying that they are going to bringing an app out some time soon so that might make it allot better.

More success! Going to start slowing down for the next couple of weeks as the garden project starts on Monday and I have a list as long as my arm of things to do! Fingers crossed I can get another £3 and then I'll be over £100 for the month for surveys and task apps :) Hopefully the garden project won't eat into too much of my contingency..

What about adding some blogging targets for May?
They don't even have to be money related and instead could just be milestones you want to achieve!

Feeling a bit reflective this morning. Had a terrible day yesterday for lots of reasons and am thinking it would be great for my morale to know that I could leave my job if I wanted and I would be ok. I definitely don't want to leave right now as there are bits I enjoy, I have a fair bit of freedom and I am still learning. But with all these things there is usually a time where you know it is right to move on and it would be better if I had already built up my self-employed portfolio before that point.

In any case, I am thinking doing lots of little things are best for me money making wise.. I've spent the past few weeks doing tons of surveys and the bonus of only cashing out at the start of the next month is that I can really see what is working for me earning wise and what isn't. I am thinking of getting my list of the top 3 sites I need to really be on everyday and then have a declining list after that of which ones to go on next if I have time etc.

So.. I am thinking I need to add into my list other things like task apps, blogging etc to figure out how I can get these to work for me. Once I get the next thing off the list, I will give it a bit of an upgrade :)

I still don't want to think about targeting £X per month as I know that won't work for me with everything that is going on and will stress me out. In any case, I seem to be earning a similar amount just using this small task list! I am hoping that one day I will suddenly realise I am earning a lot and don't have to work full time anymore!

Another goal ticked off this morning (although was just pending surveys being approved...). So time for a small upgrade to my list...

I don't want more than 5 goals at a time as I don't want to be overwhelmed, but I need a bit of diversification. Plan is to have 3-4 goals dedicated to surveys and 1-2 dedicated to other things. Will have more surveys during the week as there are more available then and at the weekends I will have more time for other things. Will try it for a bit and see whether it works for me.

My top survey sites for me are:
1. PA
2. Swagbucks
3. Panelbase
4. Global testmarket
5. Valued Opinions

Ones I will do as and when I get time (so may not be on the list per se):
1. Newvista
2. YouGov
3. Branded surveys
4. OnePoll
5. Populus
6. i-Say
7. Qmee
8. Vypr (will probably ditch it when I next cash out)
9. OnePulse (to get rid of if I ever cash out!)

Ones under testing at the moment:
1. Testable minds

GOALS!
Surveys:
1. Prolific Academic £33.90 / £35
2. Swagbucks 4,355 / 4,800 points
3. Global testmarket £12.97 / £15

Other:
4. MB £360 / £400
5. Design and load up 5 t-shirt designs (1/5)

Running survey/tasks total ready to cash out in May: £101.32 (excludes amounts pending approval). Wahoo - made it to 3 figures! This is the most I have ever made in a month on surveys since I started dabbling with them a few years ago!

yeah I think the sooner you can shorten that list the better to be honest as I can see how you would find it all a bit overwhelming!

I think it's an ongoing piece of work to work out what is working for you. I'm glad I went back and am trying them all out as I am getting a good idea of which ones I can make work.

In the same thought pattern, my inbox is outta control... so now figuring out how to make emails from surveys and MB go directly to a folder rather than in the inbox so I can control when I want to do work and can actually see my personal emails! It's all slow progress...

I have a separate e-mail address for survey type stuff another one for MB related stuff and then another one which is my personal one just for personal e-mails etc. I did try and have them coming in one e-mail address and going into folders but then have to check the folders and I found it easier just to have separate e-mail addresses so I can see what is what. Then I can move any I want into folders to go through later.

You're making me think about it too much now.. in one sense I want less and more simple, but lots of little things to do seems to work well as surveys come in and out and are busy at different times. Plus at the moment, I am stuck with nothing to do of an evening with just an iPad and phone for company... so I need lots of survey options!

Somehow if I can do less with the same money that would be great. I will carry on with my "maybe" list and perhaps jettison a few more. As I haven't had anything from OnePulse for months now I might just delete the app and have done with it.

I am hoping that if I put them in folders I can then slowly distill it down so I get few emails in a day... I usually like a zero inbox, so I think more email addresses might stress me out. Will give the folders a good run first and see if that works for me.

It is good to have variety it is just a question of finding the sites that work best for you and give you the most money wise that pays the best. Better to get rid of sites where you aren't earning anything from anyway that is what I have done allot over the last few months.

Thanks - that's what I think I am trying to do! The cashing out every month really helps as I can see now how it adds up and I know where I have put more effort in. I did try to list the sites literally in order of how good they are for me. Actually - that makes sense.. I can start going through to cash out and get rid of the ones from the bottom up!

Yes me again! One goal down already. Decided that when I hit the next survey goal I will add a goal to cash out and delete the low paying ones.

GOALS!

1. Prolific Academic £34.40 / £35
2. Swagbucks 4,355 / 4,800 points

I've deleted low paying ones over the years too, well, some of them! The ones I don't enjoy. Good for you!

Always be changing and diversifying online and you'll go far!

Love seeing how you're doing x
