Stumbled across this site while looking for information about money earning apps, having found and enjoyed using Job Spotter.

My motivation for earning a little extra cash - we're buying a house which is in need of renovation, husband has grand plans, all very achievable however we only have money saved for the initial priority, pre-move in work. Stuff like new kitchen, new bathroom will have to wait until we have more saved.

Unless, instead of all that commuting time I spend on my phone playing games and posting to FB, could be better used to earn a little extra cash.

Mentioned this idea to my husband who does an excellent job of working the airmiles and hotel loyalty schemes to our advantage with stunning results, he's not convinced I can earn much money, so game on!

Guess I need a starting target. Let's try for £100 in June and see how I get on. Have to admit it sounds impossible right now!

I can imagine it's possible if you don't have a full time job, but possible with one? Thanks for the link, I'll definitely have a look.

That is WITHOUT A full time job @Cazzie

You can make that money even if you work full time the same as I and many others do on here :)

Mystery shopping is a good little earner as well. I fit them in around my lunch or at the end of the day for larger stores and it's good for at least a £100 a month once you've gotten established at it even only doing a few visits a month.

Thanks for the suggestion, I quite like the idea of mystery shopping.

I signed up ages ago for a mystery dining site, the amount of work they asked for each visit was immense and extremely specific, you have to get it spot on or they don't refund you, didn't sound like much fun so I haven't actually done one yet!

If you've not done ANY mystery shopping at all I would recommend starting off by working with Market Force who's instructions are very simple and everything is pretty much spoof fed to you

oooh what's a smartlock? Can your phone open the door or something?

Yeap! This is one of the best features. Also it has a keypad and a fingerprint scanner
Let us know how it goes, I would LOVE a device for our front door that's super secure but doesn't require me to get my keys out to open it!

That's great that you're motivated to earn some extra cash to support your house renovation goals! It's always worth exploring different avenues to increase your income. Earning money through apps can be a convenient way to utilize your phone time effectively. Setting a starting target of £100 for June is an excellent goal. While it may seem challenging at first, with dedication and the right approach, it's definitely achievable. Me and my wife try right now to do our best to gain and save money for our coming renovation. The most important goal for us right now that we wanna achieve is to change the internal doors in our house, because children and animals (a dog and a cat) scratched them and also have broken some glazed doors we had. Now we want to buy a simple panel door in the kitchen and some wooden durable doors in the rooms.

Great motivator. It is crazy how much my partner and I saved in a short period of time when we wanted to do some renovations.

The biggest thing for us was cutting unnecessary costs. Literally everything went beyond things like mortgage, bills and food.

It is important to make sure that everything you save actually goes into savings though. I've gone through and cut non-essentials before, but the savings have just been lost in thin air.

I'd recommend setting up a savings pot. Anything you manage to cut (let's say £9.99 for Netflix) gets set up as a direct debit into the pot.

I hope that is helpful.

Hi guys, anyone interested in surveys online for extra cash. I've found the site below. £100 per month is not out of the question
