I have just started a blog for Women over 50

I am still finding my way. Feel I am blogging to myself at present

Clever niche

I can well believe there is a market for a blog like this

Sling up regular, unique content and really push yourself on social media an I think given enough time I think companies that target the demographic you are after will start approaching you for paid sponsored content

Hi Gerri!

Little tip from me. Youre showing far too much of each post on the home page. You'd be better off showing a small snippet. Just the first few sentences is usually fine.

You need to give people a reason to click through to the post. As it is you can get most of the information in each post and never leave the homepage.

That's going to destroy your page views.

Apart from that it looks good. Nice and clean, easy to follow.

When you're writing your post there should be an option on the top bar to add a "read more tag".

Just stick that in the text after the first few sentences.

I love the content and have commented. The only thing I would say is make sure you proof read. I am also in the process of starting a blog so will be looking for lots of feedback shortly. Its good to connect with another newbie.

Glad you like the content - difficult to decide what to blog about but hoping I get the balance right. This was the first blog I ever started so a complete learning curve and still learning!

Just taken a look at your blog and I see you're still putting up some great content.

Your 'guide to email' etc is a clever idea and a good watch I think to bring in readers in the older demographic who wants to find out how to do more things with their computer!
