End of year report

This is week 52 marking a full year and the end of my risk free casino diary.

Firstly, thanks to everyone who has been following and contributing to the thread.
My full year total is £480.14 That's £480.14 of free money I didn't have before, so why am I disappointed?

I was really hoping for a £10 a week average to take me above the £500 mark and expected at least one big win at some point. Unfortunately that big win never happened and my final weekly average for the year works out at £9.23 That's slightly more than it was during the first 6 months, although it doesn't feel like it.
The year saw me gubbed by 4 big names, Sky, WH, Coral and Ladbrooks. Losing coral was a big loss because I did well from their spins for goals offer at the start of the year. WH have since reinstated me for some offers, but not all.

Final thoughts and lessons learned.

The gubbings happened on accounts I had previously held for several years unscathed. But within 12 weeks of hitting the risk free offers every week they were gubbed. Maybe some mug spins would have been a good idea to keep them off the scent.

The most consistent earner has definitely been the 2 goals for spins offers I did. First Coral and then Genting. It is true there is a tiny qualifying loss for these offers but through the entire year there was only one occasion where the spins failed to cover the q/l.

As expected anything with wagering was pretty much a waste of time when you are dealing with such small amounts it is hard to make it through 20x or 30x wagering. Still do them if they are free. But don't expect to win was my motto. And win I didn't.

Always check out Topcashback and Quidco for sign up offers, these can often bring in an extra £10 or £15 on top of casino sign up bonuses.

Stay opted in to marketing emails. A lot of my free spins have been from email offers.

Subscribe to the OM or PA casino offers threads and check their daily reloads sections for more casino offers. WH, Betfair and Paddy have something most weeks.

Daily scratchcards, free games, spin the wheel, get a random prize type competitions are all worth doing but payouts are low.

I avoided casino deposit and get a bonus offers because although on the face of it they are risk free you nearly always have to wager your deposit first, meaning you could lose all that you deposited. People will tell you to wager on blackjack and you shouldn't lose much but I still still consider it a risk.

Be aware also that many casinos have a £10 minimum withdrawal. So always keep a balance above £10 so you can withdraw everything when you need to. No good winning £5 on free spins if you can't then get it out.

Consider some of the smaller bookies and casinos too. Quinnbet have been very good in the later part of the year and I regularly get 5 or 10 free spins from them each week with no wagering.

So that's it. I will continue doing some of my favourite risk free offers but will end the dairy here. Thanks again for reading and I hope it has given you some ideas for earning a few extra pounds.

You've done amazingly well and £480 is £480!

Question for you though, how much do you think you've made throughout the year doing non risk-free slot offers?!?!

Thanks for the update on your full year. I follow the guidelines you pointed out & although I haven't had the time to keep a diary I would expect that my results would be similar to your own.

I've mainly stuck to the risk free ones although have done some like wager £10 for 10 free spins. I only do them if the value of free spins is £2.00 or more as often you only get 10p spins and I dont think thats worth it. I also turn my nose up at anything with more than 20x wagering. I didn't keep detailed records of those but I am up over the long run. Not made fortunes from it though and again, no big win apart from my £800 form a sign up offer when I very first started them over 2 years ago.

Not much. 5 mins each morning to check different site for the spins and and 5 minutes to play them. A bit longer at the weekend when there is more about.

Yeah wagering requirements are crazy for some bonuses; mostly I don't bother. Betvictor gave me £10 for casino/games recently with 40x wagering requirement - highest total I had was about £15 and I was down to zero before I had wagered £40 nevermind £400!!

I got £10 with Unibet. I managed to wager £282.50 of the £350 requirement and then my luck ran out. I'm convinced they tailor the experience. I was playing Steam Tower and at the beginning I was getting specials roughly every 30 spins and managed to reach level 16 for the bonus once but the rest of the time had a healthy level 7-11, I also had one mega win and about 5 big wins. All peaked around £48. By the end it was around 200 spins between specials and I was barely getting beyond level 4 and payouts were low (20%-30% of the wager often).

Thankfully I'm not a gambler - I can see how it could become addictive!

That's a really interesting read. What slot would you say, in your opinion is the ultimate slot for wagering purposes please?

I did TGI bingo and MrQ bingo, just on the slots as both were giving £5 bonus. For MrQ, there is a free 24hr bingo after signing and as there are only roughly 5 players I managed to get £50. It's not none stop 24 hours I hasten to add. TGI was a similar offer and I made £39, not sure how. As you know Play OJO are good and generous with offers but I don't usually like sites with anything over £10.00 minimum payout threshold! Good luck for the next year.

Technically, it is whichever slot the company have that has the highest RTP. Often it is bloodsucks although I didnt do very well with it when I used it.

I personally like Gonzo's Quest and Finn and the swirly spin but that's just my preference. Its down to luck at the end of the day.

https://slotcatalog.com/ can help you find the slots with the highest RTP so at least you can have the figures on your side.

Thanks for the info, yes I've made some good money on Finn when luck has been on my side as you say. And of course some are even excluded from wagering on some sites like the Bloodsuckers. It either goes your way or it doesn't where slots are concerned alas!

As someone that’s unlocked all the bonuses on Finn let me tell you it makes naff all difference which one you choose

The most lucrative level on Finn is the very first level, I don't bother with the higher levels as yes, "naff" is an appropriate adjective.

I did the Unibet offer a few weeks ago, played on Steam Tower and walked away with £220 after over two hours of spinning. I couldn't believe it. I still can't! I hit £160 after three spins or so and knew I was in for a long night. Was up to £290 at one point and definitely was on a downwards trajectory when I finally completed the WR.

What was your stake?

I started off with £1 spins, then moved down to 20p spins after the initial 3 spins to try and protect the profit. That's generally my tactic with these offers with high WR so I don't waste a load of time. Obviously 99% of the time it's all over very quickly and my pockets are empty!
