Re: Getting back into Mystery Shopping

Done the travel ones with edigital. Thing is they want you to phone the customer number and create an inquiry. Anyone done this or just done something to get around this?
Also creating an inquiry and sending by e-mail/online form then you have to wait two days minimum and if you don't get a reply you have to go and put that into the survey.
So again anyone doing this?
Means waiting before being able to submit the survey for payment.
Unless everyone is avoiding those ones?

Yes do all that stuff otherwise they will reject your survey

The travel aren't the best to do then. Not quick lots of questions and searching etc involved then waiting for a reply for two days which you may not get. Trouble is until you actually take the survey you can't see what is involved. They should tell you in the description that you will need to do a phone and e-mail inquiry but it doesn't.

The surveys should take you no longer than 15 mins each to do

Thy are pretty much the same questions on repeat

Don't obsess over the answers. A detailed sentence is more than enough

Ok thanks. That is where I am going wrong. Putting too many details in.

Re: Getting back into Mystery Shopping

EMS is definitely worth doing.
Should be able to submit at least one of my completed surveys first thing tomorrow.
One e-mail response so just phone call to do to complete one then hopefully the other one will do a reply tomorrow so I can get that sorted and finished before the weekend.
Once they are through and credited that will be good.
Got more that I am waiting to come off pending status so will do those once they become available.
Going to try a couple of the purchase ones as well and see what they are like.

Re: Getting back into Mystery Shopping

remember on the purchase one

buy the CHEAPEST ITEM YOU CAN..

they don't care how much you spend and you get the 'amount' for purchase regardless

Good stuff - Hope you get on well

Keep an eye on the dates, last date to invoice for this month is the 15th I think (which you can only do if you get over £15 anyway)

Only just had one from last week approved so it takes a few days to get the surveys appproved. Still one I have been paid for now so that is good.
Lots in my 'pending' list so once I get allocated those I will do them.
Have done what you said to accept every single one that is available so I imagine they will become available in the next few days.
Good money anyway and I am looking forward to doing the purchase ones. :)

Re: Getting back into Mystery Shopping

I have just had an assignment rejected. This has not happened to me for years as I am very careful but obviously getting complacent! I had to take a photo of a poster displayed outside the shop but there was a large car in front so I couldn't. The only other place I could have taken a picture was from the shop door which would have obviously revealed me as a mystery shopper (I'm probably too conscientious as well). I did complain as I had submitted a receipt for my purchase and written a comprehensive report but no luck. They did agree to remove the score they had given of 1/10 - I haven't had lower than a 9 from them before - so at least it won't affect my average.

So, newbies be warned! Make sure you do exactly as they ask especially if you are paying for something. I always buy something I need or can use for a present just in case.....

You couldn't be more right.

I have lost out on payments for things obstructing the view of photos as well, don't feel too bad ;)

Re: Getting back into Mystery Shopping

I wouldn't worry about revealing yourself - practise the art of a 'stealthie'... just quickly snap the picture from outside the shop and walk off, do it confidently and fast and nobody will see you or remember. The more you hang around and look awkward or try and get the perfect snap, the more you'll stand out. I've had to take some tricky photos with Field Agent, it can be hard sometimes!

I've got soooo many stamps from them as I don't use any - banking them up nicely for the Christmas cards :)
