I managed to get through 100 ads and 400 adprizes yesterday (won 25c, yay!)

Still 200 available today.

How much are you earning from all this [member=2079]rrobson[/member]

and how much manual work is involved?

I don't bother with the adprizes, as it takes up too much time and when I did do it all the time, I won nothing so return is quite poor.

The ads are back today. What's going on?

[member=1]Jon[/member] not a massive amount from the clicks, but the big numbers available right now are worth half a cent an ad.

In terms of manual work, each ad takes 3 clicks of the mouse, one to select, one to confirm then you just ignore it until it's done and one last one to close. Adprizes take one click each, just hitting the 'next' button every time it comes up.

I tend to do this while I'm watching tv, or in a little window in the corner of my screen while I'm doing other stuff online (I'm doing some while I type this), so it doesn't really take any time away from doing other stuff.

I'm also hitting about £50 a month on the minijobs. I'm fairly selective on which ones I take, but I think it works out about £10/hour.

[member=3231]Yingers74[/member] I know what you mean on the adprizes, but as it's just a question of spamming the next button, I figure I may as well. There is a little flash of excitement when you win, even if it is only 10 points.

Just picked up another 20 referrals, bringing my total to 156.

This should bring my average income above $1 a day for the first time, with somewhere around 20c of that being profit.

I'll do a blog post on it next week once the newbies have had a chance to settle in.

I don't like how they remove your balance if your are inactive for over 30 days. I don't think that it acceptable to be honest.

Yeah, that is pretty poor. Would be understandable if they set it at six months or something.

That being said, Neobux is a site that needs constant attention if it's going to work out for you, so if you're dormant for 30 days, you're probably not making much from it anyway.

Maybe, but I use these kind of sites as slow burners. Inbox and Unique rewards. Of course there is nothing wrong with suspending the accounts, but to remove the balance that has been earned is not on.

NeoBux is a bit of a slow-burner, but I figure if you treat it as a game then it can be fun - in a twisted sort of way. I've only been signed up for a month, but only started taking it seriously a fortnight ago but I'm have a weird sort of plan.

I dropped $10 of my own money and brought 50 rented referrals. I need to make $9.50 in a month to extend it a month further out. I figure that that's 1900 of my own clicks (on the $0.005 adverts), or around 63 a day. Not an impossible amount. That of course ignores any money made from the referrals themselves. At $0.005 per referral click, they too need to make around 1900 clicks between them to be self sustaining. That's 38 each. Being optimistic that's around 1.2 clicks on average, per person. The amount I'll make in a month varies, but roughly if the average is:

1.0 clicks per person - $7.50
1.5 clicks per person - $11.75
2.0 clicks per person - $15.00
2.5 clicks per person - $18.75
3.0 clicks per person - $22.50

Or, in a perfect world, 16 people clicking 4+ adverts every day. Who knows what will happen, but we'll see if anything comes of it!

Hi [member=4443]Xwarli[/member], welcome to Neobux and thanks for using my link.

From what you've said here, I think you're about to hit a bit of a wall and I hope it doesn't discourage you too much. I had the same issues early on and you can recover. It's probably worth you reading through my blog to see where I went wrong. I'm now up to 204 referrals, all extended out for 8 months and golden membership, all from my initial $10 investment, so recovery is definitely possible.

I think you've done what most people do, renting too many referrals too quickly. They're all going to come up for renewal at the same time, which means you'll only be able to afford to extend for one month, which is not very cost effective.

Your aim of 1.2 clicks average is very optimitstic. You'll get those numbers for the first couple of weeks, but then it drops off to about 0.6 in the long term for most people, which won't cover your costs.

If you're getting a lot of personal clicks done and the odd mini job here and there, you'll get the cashflow to cover it, but you'll find that the referrals are costing more than they're making

You might want to consider turning on auto-renew as this will give you a bigger discount than 30 day extensions and will help to spread out the costs until you can afford to do 240 day extensions. You may also want to consider letting some of the less productive ones lapse to reduce the numbers.

I've done the sums in various ways over the last 18 months on Neobux and come to the conclusion that it's impossible to make a profit from rented referrals as a standard level member. You will need to be golden level and have at least 100 referrals before they start to pay for themselves.

Currently my 204 referrals are bringing in a daily income of around $1.20 - $1.30, about $0.10 - $0.20 of that is profit. It's not making me rich, but it is starting to be worth while.

One bright point on the horizon though - there tends to be a discount promotion around Halloween. If it kicks in early enough, you might get a little extra discount on your renewals.

Good luck with it and let me know if you need any help.

I have been an active member of neobux for just over a year and a half now.

Like others.........when I first joined, I just didn't get the whole referrals thing and was getting nowhere fast just by clicking the ads.

After seeing a few talk about the site and their progress on another site I decided to have another go and have not looked back.

It wont be the right earning site for some as it isnt an instant way of making money. Its a slow burner where you can build up your account over several years and this in time gives you a passive regular income.

I am now a Golden member with 655 rented referrals and one very active direct referral.

My next aim is to make 750 refs and then save for the Ultimate membership.

I like the site as you have to plan ahead and make sure you have funds for the upkeep of your refs whilst still growing your account.

My simple tips for the site are to only purchase refs that you can afford to extend for the full 240 days and try to use the promo days as much as possible to get the cheaper prices.

If you are interested in creating a passive income for yourself for the future, I would highly recommend it and if you use my referral link , I would be very grateful :)

Hi kantankarus, I joined via you 2 year ago now, great to see you on here too ;)

Just want to add my link too, made $1018.00, golden membership and 400 rented referrals, really enjoy trying out new strategies and figuring out how to make even more money.

I like to do mini jobs through crowdflower to add to my earnings.

I watch the ads every day (at the minute there are 78 paying 0.005, 15 at 0.001 and you get 4 chances at the adprize with every click. You can win anything from a few cents or points up to free golden membership worth $90.00.

Its so easy to do while doing other things and fits in easily with my day.

Love to see you on there and if you have any questions at all please just shout, I'm happy to help.

Hey Lupyloo!!! How great to see you and see that you are still doing ok on neobux.

Gives me the chance to say "Thankyou." :)

Thanks for being a great referral and hope you continue with your neo journey.

Im now on 750 refs and my next goal is to slowly increase refs to 1000 whilst at the same time trying to save for Ultimate with New Year 2018 my goal for both.

What are your goals?

Hi all

I signed up in June and there were 100 / 200 ads a day back then. Clicktastic!

After 2 months I had 6,000 clicks so I planned on getting Golden Membership by clicking on 30,000 ads instead of paying the $90 but this is looking less and less likely.

I've only had 15 / 20 ads a day since the end of July - is this normal?

Stuck on 40 rented referrals - bought too many too soon.

20 referrals full 240 days, now 180 - 210 days; 20 referrals <30 days which I'm just upgrading for 30 days when I can.

No money in so far only time, just wondering if it's worth carrying on with it?

Fanks for reading!

Rich
