Afternoon all,

Just wondering if there are any ne to the market online opportunities that people have discovered in the past year that would be of use?

I like the idea of passive incomes but any info on anything new and profitable would be good, not crypto that style of gambling is not for me

All the rage at the moment (at least on social media from 'earning online' folk) seem to be 'selling authority'

So if you know how to do say affiliate marketing then you turn that into an online course or e-book and flog that - sometimes with a recurring subscription for the former.

I've never seen so many referral / sign up offers out there for joining digital banks / share places as they are right now. You could spend a day joining up to them all and probably net a few hundred quid. Same goes for if you push them as a referral to an audience.

In terms of 'traditional' ways - All the usual suspects are still about like mystery shopping, smartphone tasks, surveys, matched betting etc.

Online focus groups seems to have grown a lot as well over the last year via the likes of Respondent or Testing Time as more people than ever have access to the technology to do these studies from their living room

POD, Selling things on Etsy etc is super popular as well at the moment (just ask @rich110991 !)

I still think the best thing to do is have a mixture of incomes. Some where you depend on a company giving you work and some where you are creating the income yourself so via a website / service / blog / whatever

I do worry about all the banking systems signups and what you are signing up to, open banking is a worry, by creating a new bank account does that mean that bank now has access to your banking records due to open banking, i have never done one due to this niggle in the back off my head.

I have stuck to my current provider for the stocks and shares as its not a company that's based in Bulgaria haha!

Thank you i shall have a look at testing time as that one is not on my radar.

I have been selling items on ebay over the last few months but have noticed jan has slowed down a bit.

I love open banking - used it loads for everything from my accounts software which pulls in my bank feed from HSBC for me to identity credit checks where I can give a device permission to view what I tell it to

I find the whole technology super useful

I see open banking has its pro's but i just worry about these pop up banks and what they do with your data, I guess I'm a bit old school all my "banking" is in high street banks (most from Yorkshire)

This also goes for companies in the crypto sector, when you sign up and they ask you for copies of your drivers license or passport? when did this data become so common we just upload it to a company that we trust is legit, i mean who actually reads the 9000 pages of T's and c's.

I'll be honest though i am getting more and more anti digital - just bought a LP player and ditched the amazon speakers

I would say Open Banking etc is the way things will be forever now - The days of having to open your account at a high street bank and take along 3 physical forms of ID are well gone.

I like people for research for focus groups, they are based in Bristol but do quite a lot of online stuff as well. I signed up to Angelfish opinions as well but have not done anything for them.
