Hi, my aim for this year is to pay off my credit card debt. I have managed to look at a few posts about online earning on this forum. Everyone seems so helpful!

I have joined streetspotr, click and walk, one poll, valued opinions, one pulse and field agent! Unfortunately, Roamler isn't working for me, I need an activation code for it.

Does anyone have any advice on other ways to boost my earnings? I'm a Mum to a one year old and only work part time so can't pay off my debt nearly as fast as I'd like on my wage at the moment.

Thank you in advance

Hello

Get your post count to 10 and drop me a PM and I will sort you out a Roamler invite

I would suggest you look at the toolkit for ideas and links to get started
http://blog.themoneyshed.co.uk/working-from-home-toolkit/

Many people on here bring in £500+ a month from home - nothing is stopping you doing the same :)

Thank you, I will try to get my posts up. Not quite got the hang of everything yet. I looked at the toolkit yesterday before I joined anywhere. It was great, thanks. I have seen a lot of people mention whatusersdo but I don't think that my laptop has a microphone so it's no good for me. Clic and Walk have a few paid tasks this morning but they are all too far away for me. Hopefully more come out closer to home! What sites are best for paid surveys?

Update...I have hit my first £5 (can't withdraw until £20) on one of the survey sites. Not much available on the rest. Valued Opinions haven't yet offered any surveys.

I have registered with Pinecone and hopefully hear from them soon! I also signed up to Crowdology but haven't been offered any surveys as yet.

Are there any tips to follow to be offered more surveys or is it just luck?

I've been having problems with iPoll and wondered if anyone else was the same? There are scavenger hunts but when I go to the location and try to accept the mission I get an error message.

My aim for tonight is to have a wardrobe clear out and try to make some money with Facebook sales. I am also going to sell DVDs/CDs I no longer watch/listen to...Music Magpie seems straightforward, does anyone have any other recommendations?

Thank you :D

Get a microphone from the pound shop.

I had a problem with the iPoll app the other day - it was the pet video. 7 quid for taking a video of your dog and talking about food. Done it, and it wouldn't upload. Grrrrrr. They are useless, the customer service isn't very helpful.

My tip after having done surveys for years is not to try and spread your time too thin - a few good survey sites is much better than a whole pile as you will get to cash out quicker. MM is ok but if you are listing stuff on fb why not add your dvds and cds there too? will make you more money!

Thank you, I think the ones I've had nothing from so far (like Val Op) then I'll give them up. I thought about putting them on Facebook but wasn't sure how much interest id get in bundle sale. There's a big variety, like a bit of everything! Suppose it can't do any harm to try.

I haven't had any further emails from Pinecone since the interview email, does that mean I wasn't successful? I also applied for a couple of the web evaluator positions following your suggestion yesterday so thanks for that too :)

even if we had advice we couldn't help you due to NDA and the fact I quite like this site and don't want it shut down

Plus don't under estimate how much prep you need to do if you have exams to do.

yeah that too, same with Leapforce etc.

treat it as a real exam for a real job which offers an hourly wage

OK, thanks. I will study hard! :D

Also heard back from Pinecone so hopefully I get offered a Survey from them soon. Someone suggested Global TM as well so I have signed up for them and completed my first survey.

Fingers crossed for Appen...I feel like I am back at school and nervous for my exams. I have had my job for over ten years so don't even have experience in 'normal' job interviews. Wish me luck :-[

Thanks, I have joined both. Got MySurvey to earn points from another site. YouGov haven't offered me anything yet and I've screened out of all of MySurvey ones today so far

I have increased a little in each site though so fingers crossed

My best earner this month has been Textbroker - I've earned £30 for writing short articles like product descriptions.

Have you looked into mystery shopping? Have a look at this thread to see if its for you: http://www.themoneyshed.co.uk/index.php?topic=643.0

I have looked in to mystery shopping and have been assigned my first task. I have given up on MySurvey and Global Test Market because I seem to screen out of everything offered! Going to stick with OnePoll, InboxPounds and PineCone as far as surveys go. Haven't been offered any from PineCone yet but hoping I will be.

Field Agent tasks are all still outwith my area but I have Roamler ones to complete. iPoll is still playing up so I haven't been able to complete any tasks for them yet.

I don't have any experience writing reviews/product descriptions so I'm not sure how well I would do with Textbroker.

I also managed to hit a pot hole yesterday and burst a tyre so there goes another £120 on to my credit card for a new one.
