Hi there I am a newbie poster although I have been a regular nosy parker for a while. A little bit about myself I am a married mum of 3 school age kids I gave up working full time approx 4 years ago too look after the family. I am now at that stage where I have a bit more free time when the kids at school and in bed etc and I am keen to start earning some money for myself hopefully at home to contribute to the house and and give myself a bit of pride.
Hope that all made sense lol .
Anyway my question is has anyone here worked as a chat host on the bingo sites etc I applied to a company a few weeks back online I cant even remember where to be honest but they have replied asking for times available for a telephone interview I have responded and am now awaiting a phonecall. I just wondered if anyone has any info on the kind of hours, pay etc that these posts normally include as I have no experience and dont know of anyone that does?
Thanks in advance

No but this is something I keep looking out for. I applied to one before finding TMS but never heard back (that's what I get for applying to a Gumtree Ad lol)

I will be keeping an eye on this thread :) Oh and welcome to the world of a non-lurker ;)

I honestly can't remember who the one I applied for was, I just stumbled across it while job hunting on Gumtree. Every time I have checked any of the big companies (Gala, Mecca) there haven't been any online positions but it has been a good few months (like 6) since I last checked. The last time I did search the only thing I could find was voluntary positions

Just the one and looking at the email address It says 8 ball games. I remember the ad I originally responded to stated that you must live within so many miles of Alderley Edge for training purposes which is what prompted me to apply as I am in the next village.

Oh yes and like you Chammy the only other ads I seemed to find were for voluntary to gain experience!! Now theres an idea for cheap labour.

I have applied for voluntary chat host jobs in order to get a bit of experience, but never heard anything back. I think via CMjobs? or CMWhich? umm something like that. Did chase up bit didn't hear anything.

Good luck with that. It looks like a fun job if you can build up a rapport with the roomies

I've been working my way through the bingo sites via offers on Quidco and TopCashback. I admire what the chat hosts do - some of them are excellent. I hope you find something as the hours look really flexible.
