Hi Everyone
Love this site ;D
I used to belong to Bonus Bagging and Profit Maximiser a few years ago and therefore had about 15 bookie accounts - I had stopped betting (not because of lack of earnings) but namely from old relationship and being constantly hindered in my businesses and progress - control freak
Anyway that is all behind me now - the question in my head is how to re-start betting? - what float should I allocate? - thought I would concentrate on my favourites - slots and horse racing and maybe pick up some Olympic betting? :p

You should be able to start again with only around £60

There are oodles of football offers each weekend now so it's a good time to jump back in!

I started with £100, but only so I could do more than the 2 initial sign up offers on Profit Accumulator.

Hi [member=3978]louisevarney[/member] welcome back to it!

I'd say to put as much of a float in as you can manage, whether it be £50 or £200, the more you have the quicker you will gain traction as you can get more bets on at once. That being said, if you're coming back to it after a break from doing it then maybe a slower start is better!

I'd definitely go for some football offers - too juicy to pass up on right now. Regarding horses, have you ever used Oddsmonkey for your MB software? They have an amazing race matcher and each-way matcher that is perfect for the horsies. Going to aim to get myself an extra place tomorrow ;D ;D There's a link in my signature below for a free trial ;)

Thank you - off to the usual bumpy start with football £10 on Match tonight for both to score - lost :-[ but it did come with a free matching bet
so not all bad.

When I had a go at football betting a while ago - I was using a formula I managed to find for free on the web somewhere - basically it was either using both teams to score or more than 2 goals with either team - did reasonably well at that.

Anyway question is - with football betting do people bet each way - the same as horse betting through different bookmakers?

It doesn't that your £10 football bet lost though does it [member=3978]louisevarney[/member] as you laid it off at the exchange????

Can't say I've ever done or been asked to do each way bets on football

Where are you finding this information?????

The game score was 2 - 0 - so thus the £10 of both teams to score lost.

Bet was on Betfair - they sent me an email to do an in play football bet up to £50 and it would match it for my bet size - so do have the £10 back to faff around with till 21st in the form of a 'free' bet and see if I can turn it into a profit ...

I think the info was in some pdf's I had purchased and saved in my documents - but they are password protected :'(

I ask again, you laying there bets off at an exchange aren't you as hard what matched betting is!

Your comment about "to see if I can turn a profit" makes you sound like you aren't which is odd as matched betting is all about making GUARENTEED RISK FREE MONEY

We ALWAYS turn a profit on each offer...

Just following on from what Jon has said you have to ensure you're laying your bets off with an Exchange such as Betfair or Smarkets.
That way every bet you back will have minimal loss for your qualifying bet and then you make the real profit of the free bet!
