TV adverts always get my attention but some of them have me literally shouting at the TV. so -

what's your favourite ad

what's your least favourite ad

Slightly unusual, but my favourite AND least favourite are for the same company. Earlier this year when the new 'booking.com' advert burst onto the screens with their advert featuring a family travelling to their holiday destination and the commentary was an enthusiastic voice saying 'look at the view. Look at the booking view. You've got it booking right!! I love this advert, It was SO different from the usual holiday adverts and (something I usually gauge an ad by), if I was telling someone about what a great advert it is, i could also remember who and what it was for .

But now theyve changed the ad! The Booking .com ad now has the dreary voice over -Booking.com used to be Booking dot YEH!!!! Now its a very mediocre Booking dot possibly looking into it...

The choice of voiceover is terrible. Ralph Inneson used to play that creepy bloke in The Office and I cant disassociate him from it.

I think my favourite Advert is the money supermarket advert with the guy in the high heels, it always makes me laugh! I haven't seen it in a while though, I wonder if it's still on :( I think my worst has to be the travelodge one with the creepy puppets that sing! I noticed that the booking.com advert had changed too, it really sucks the other one was great!

Money supermarket, yep I love their ads. New 'dislike# today is Purple Bricks - theyve two ads running and one of them has two men, supposedly brothers, going on about who is better looking. One of them (not the bald one) looks like he could do with a bath and a haircut. Look like a couple of jokers, i wouldnt dream of using that site to buy or sell a house

I pay no attention to adverts at all. People will say "have you seen such and such an advert, you must have" and I will really never have seen it. Even when someone is laughing at one, I will look up and realise it's an advert and get bored. Ha.

I do remember the Lunn Poly "get away" adverts, from years ago, tho. And the Milky Way red car and blue car one.

The whole Meerkats (comparethemarkets) story and how they've managed to keep that going is very impressive.

Gocompare became very annoying when that operatic guy with the twirly moustache outstayed his welcome. Glad they finally got rid of him!

I quite liked the Booking.com advert too but I believe that was the one that had lots of complaints because it sounded like he was swearing. It's a shame though, as I found it pretty memorable and it definitely helped me to recall the site when I needed to research holidays.

I generally just tune out when adverts are playing; they become white noise as I nip to the kitchen and make a cuppa. The only ad that has successfully made my blood boil that I have to hit the mute button is the Muller corners with Nicole Sherzinger. It just grates on me so much!

aaah, so the complaining brigade had it banned, then. The same thing happened to another great ad for KFC a few years ago - two call centre workers taking call while singing and stuffing their faces with KFC. A light hearted amusng ad, banned because a number of parents complained that it was teaching their children bad manners..

I don't watch many ads as we sky plus everything so that we can fast forward them, but my least favourite adverts were the phones4u ads from a few years ago - so much so I wouldn't go into phones4u on principle

I used to love the tango ads where this orange man just jumped out and slapped people in the face.
