Matched Betting Discussion Not doing well at all on casino

Is anyone else having a bad few months on casino? Finding it really rubbish at the moment and I'm actually making a loss!

Actually seriously tempted to give it up at the moment - but then I keep thinking that I may have a good month and be £££ again! I'd love to concentrate on EPs but it's hard to get a decent stake on now as I'm restricted with so many bookies.

Wondering if I stop the casino side and concentrate on the passive income stuff I want to look at (Amazon KPD, Etsy etc...) as at the moment most of my time is spent on matched betting.... But I think it'll be hard to do because historically 90% of my money has come from MB and not sure how easy it'll be to match it!

Anyway, was wondering if anyone else had been having a nightmare on casino too!!

Are you doing bankroll management? Some recentboffers seem marginal EV, with the occasional gem.

Me too usually, but it's been an unusually bad few months! I've experienced the variance, of course, but not being £200 down one month!

That's what I keep thinking but profits have been going down and down for a while. I know its part and parcel of it as I've been doing them for a long time but each month seems to be getting worse! But I do remain hopefully that it'll mean I'll have an amazing February haha!

I think it's just annoying because I've always tracked steadily above EV and now I'm below. Also when you spend hours doing it and you end up -£30 for the month overall because casino losses have wiped out your small EP profit!

@fajita, bankroll management is staking according to your total bankroll. You might choose a fixed stake or a percentage (which adjusts as your bankroll goes up and down).
The idea being that you don't risk too much per spin/offer.

As a minimum, I'd look at variance across 1,000+ different offers.

Ah ok - yep I've taken that into account so no worries about that.

I'm definitely well over 1k offers- I've been doing casino for 18 months so don't know the actual figure but will be more than that.

Frustrating because 99% of what I'm doing now is a variance thing so not good when I have a bad month on them all!

They been asking me to try it for how many years and they recommended this, but I do not know if betting is worth the risk.

You have to be in it for the long haul to ride through the variance!

It's worth it, but like Jon said you need to think of it long term. I'm now sat at the same profit I was back in October because of a rubbish 5 months!!! Also, offers aren't as good as they were which is a shame.

I've had HUGE wins over the years, but no huge ones for about 2 years. Now I just use 15%-20% of my monthly profit from MBing on the casino offers, if I tap through that then I stop.

only thing annoying about free spins is they tend to be worth naff all per spin lol
