notifications?

Hi, I've just joined after seeing the site on katykicker's blog, and loving it so far.
Could I ask though, how do I stop the notifications of responses to threads coming to my phone? Whilst I'm at work I need to turn this sort of thing off so as not to be distracted.

(On the desktop version at least) There should be a bell icon labelled 'Alerts' at the top right-hand side of the page.
You should be able to tweak to your hearts desire from there.

If I'm wrong then I'm sure @Jon will be along to tell me off.
