3 months until Christmas (as @Chammy has reminded me!)

Someone needs to seriously slow down this year!

Not got a massive amount planned for this month. Am off to Old Trafford next Saturday for the Grand Final which Leeds Rhinos are playing in so that should hopefully be a good day out (mixed in with a visit to the Trafford Centre no doubt for some shopping and food!)

I would say this is the month we will put the heating on but we always started doing that a few weeks back! Least I don't have to mow the lawn for the rest of the year though which is a good thing as my mower has finally given up after about 5 years or very active use throughout the summer months!

I'm back from holiday next week. Not looking forward to it but want to focus on my blog a bit more. I also want to sort out the flat and get a dishwasher. I can't wait as I hate washing up! :D

Now I just need to find someone who can fit a dishwasher. I could fit one into a space but need a cupboard taken out so will have to get a man in.

How exciting is my life....

Cannot believe how quickly September went. Blink and you miss it!
September is a nothing month where you are just waiting for kids to go back to school and the slog towards Christmas to begin!

Wow! Very exciting!

What sort of a wedding are they having? are they going anywhere exciting for their honeymoon?

All the best people get married in October you know! (myself included!)

I've got carpal tunnel and finally convinced my GP to send me for a diagnostic test to confirm it.

Got a letter yesterday telling me that I have to go for an electroneuromyography test on Thursday.
From what I can see, this is basically like an ECG test, where I'll have the kind of ECG pads put on my arm, wrist and hand and then a needle put into the muscles of my arm and given electric shocks through it! :O

Not really looking forward to this! I don't like needles or electric shocks or hospitals or doctors but hopefully it will help to figure out more about my carpal tunnel. Although I may then end up going for surgery :(

I used to suffer terribly from carpal tunnel and it got worse when I was pregnant. Fortunately I was able to make some medication changes and lifestyle change that really helped. So sorry to hear you're suffering x

October is THE BEST month :D

Halloween & Wedding Anniversary (9 years this year), Aaron has a week off during the holidays, new bed arriving next week, we have friends coming over for a Blizzcon party...plus the weather is nicer, the slow cooker is out and everything is so lovely!

Our heating hasn't been on yet but we have a rather warm house so I don't expect it to be on constantly until next month probably.

Loads of work to do too with planning gift guides, planning Blogmas and making a start on things for my month-long Veganuary campaign. GAH TOO MUCH!

But first...best look at getting Secret Santa set up ;)

Well that's just clever thinking that is!

Cleverer then when I bought 200 fluorescent hot pants from Germany to try and flog and ebay (they did not!)

So my October involves getting to know the people of various different cities. Thanks work for never letting me be at home. I'm also supposed to be going on an actual date with a girl this month in Birmingham. Anyone got some good first date ideas? Given the distance from home I don't think my traditional ply them with food and drink approach is going to cut it!

It's the joy of doing project work for the government. Lots of time spent on the road visiting random places!
