Olio App

Hiya. Has anybody heard of the Olio app? Its basically an app where people give food away that they're not going to use. Also shops like Costa and Pret A Manger give away surplus food. So far I have had baguettes, sandwiches, bags of dog food, jars of coffee and so on. You can also give away household items or non food items. Its really good for saving food that would otherwise be thrown away! I love it.

I've tried it but in my area, there aren't many users. It is a great idea though. However their app is really not very well designed,

You can spread the word with flyers thats what I did. I know they've just had a few app updates so its better

Nice idea and my town has a very active twitter account so probably worth utilising them
