I have been working for just over a year for iTutorGroup, a large Chinese company, who provide online English teaching to Chinese adults and children. I earn around £1500 per month working between 18 and 20 hours a week. Since China is around 7 hours ahead of the UK my lessons take place from lunchtime (12:30) through until 15:30 which ideally fits into my lifestyle. All lesson material is provided so there is very little prep involved. The great thing is that you don't need to be a qualified teacher but you do have to have a degree in any discipline. In addition you need to either have a TEFL qualification or be in the process of obtaining one (the company allows you 30 days from starting to qualify). If you don't have the TEFL qualification there are lots of inexpensive online courses (120 hours) available.
This is ideal work for people who just want to earn some extra cash by working the minimum 10 hours required of for those who want a job as you can work as many hours as you want. As well as teaching I also recruit and interview candidates so if you are interested in becoming an online teacher then please contact me on richard58martin@gmail.com. I'm more than happy to answer any of your questions.
