Hi Nicole,

Firstly, I would suggest you go and make yourself a cup of tea/coffee and give yourself a couple of hours to just read, read and read. Anything "scammy" that is posted here is VERY quickly sussed out. Get a notebook and write down everything you think sounds good. Then when you have time, open a new email address (hotmail, gmail) and start signing up.

You will soon get a feel for what works for you and what doesn't.

This site is really great for finding online ways to make money. I have had 3 online only jobs for Leapforce, Appen and Lionbridge working as a web search evaluator which paid by the hour. I have also "worked from home" for virtual call centres. I also do surveys and mystery shopping. I am also a comper too, which isnt really a job, but a fun way to win things that you cant afford!

Look around the site. It really is full of great ideas

Jon, be nice to the newbies. I didn't understand how to search threads when i first started looking at forums sites. We can't all be super genius computer nerds like you

lol, true, I do sound like a bit of an arse there which is not like me


Just so you know when a member joins TMS now (it's been this this for quite a while) they get 2 emails from me automatically


One is a welcome email providing them links to the Introduce yourself thread etc.


The second is a more 'Here's how to get stated earning from home' one which includes links to the Toolkit, important threads on here and generally covered the basics to get started.. so they are given helpful information right off the bat when they join
