I have emailed my CV and heard nothing.

In theory yes, but that would get them nowhere. They need 100 people to get this contract completed and they said on my call they have only ever sacked a few people who really didn't meet standard (for example caught filling in survey's with wrong answers etc or just not doing them).

No - if you do 10 hours - you'll be paid regardless.

If you are let go before doing that then you won't get paid. I highly doubt they'd bother employing people for only 10 hours to get rid of them unless they really didn't fit the role. It's taken them time to get you into the role in the first place (two long Skype calls, e-mails, the test etc).

Maybe send them another e-mail.

I heard back on the same day.

Yep - I just sent another. Frustrating waiting - have so many things applied for and no reply.

Fingers crossed they get back to you soon. I'm sure they will.

Just to add to my post about the 10 hours before. It's unlikely that they'd allow you to work the full 10 hours if they didn't think you were good enough - so it's doubtful you'd ever be in a position where you work for 10 hours and get let go without payment. They're all about doing the best work for their clients, so if you weren't up to the job, you'd probably find out pretty quickly.

Nope

just think you need to be signed in for

What are the hours
Flexible!! Currently 10am-4pm Monday to Friday (perfect I know) They will look at extending the hours once there are more people on the dialer. You are free to work when you like within the dialer hours.

He told me that they are looking for people to commit to around 25hrs a week

just a thought -

does this mean you have to actually accrue payment through available surveys or do (a bit like with 63336) you get paid for the time you are available logged in?

If the former then I guess you would like to know there are enough callers to accrue the requested hours?

You get an hourly rate as long as you're logged in to the dialer. That includes calls and dial times.

That's a lot really given that there is only a choice of 30. With a break for lunch you would pretty much need to be logged in for the full 10-4 in order to complete 25 hours. Pity as it sounds ideal but I couldn't commit to those hours every day

Don't take my word for it though - for all I know he could have just said that to put me off lol.

Drop them a line; then get all annoyed when they don't reply ;) ;D

The key thing I got out of the training call was that they'd "LIKE" you to do 25 hours, but you can do as many as you want. I don't think they'd appreciate you doing like 5 hours per week or something, but the 25 hours isn't set in stone.

Has anyone started this yet?

I have been invited to an interview tonight or tomorrow on Skype. This is just voice only over Skype?

Had my test today.

The Skype call is voice only - they just tell you about the job really.

How did your test go?

I am doing the Skype call at 3pm. Heart isn't in it due to some bad family news - but needs must.
