My test went really well I think. Haven't heard back yet, but he seemed very pleased and said it was good.

yes it was ok thanks - seemed pretty straightforward. Just need to get on and do the test call next.

I'm waiting impatiently patiently for my test call - he was meant to call 15 minutes ago. They aren't overly organized in this office mind. But to be fair, it's probably a good thing as the council have decided to cut the grass right outside my house with a mahoosive ride-on mower, which sounds like a train hurtling past.



Update:

What a numpty I am. I didn't realise I had to call them lol. First one was a nightmare. My shitty pound shop mic wouldn't work properly. Second time, I forgot to say an important part. Third go & I made another error. (That wasn't my fault really). Fourth go, I completed it. But forgot to say bye. Lolol. Don't think it went very well. :(

Do you have to contact them to arrange your test call? I haven't heard since I was sent the logins for the screens.

I am sure they will let you through. Sounds like teething troubles which is easily overcome.

Yep, just send them an e-mail letting them know you'd like to book a test call.

Make sure you familiarise yourself with the process first though - if you haven't already that is!

I've been pretty quiet on this thread, I did my test call on Friday 29th and I've still heard nothing back so I don't know whether they just not contacting you if you didn't get it or what. They said you should hear back within 48 hours of them sending it off...well...I'm knocking these guys on the head.

I've tried contacting them via Skype previously but no reply, I could email them but to be honest I just don't care. They've been slopping and unprofessional with others on here, leaving them waiting, not quite sure what they are doing. After my original Skype call they left me feeling positive and that is why I posted about this position but it seems no-one is hearing anything back from them.

Oh how annoying. If they are this bad before working for them maybe this is a lucky escape. Disappointing I know.

see, this is where sites like this are invaluable in terms of getting many peoples experiences with a particular company.

If you just have one person come in and say its Good or Bad you tend to just agree with it but if you have numerous people all having the same experience you can generally tell what is going on

Even though, It'd still worth giving things a go so see how they pan out. I've been on FAR wilder goose chases with 'work from home' companies before

Still waiting to hear back which is a little unnerving. Not a great start, obviously, but I really need another source of income so I'm holding out.

I sent my CV to them last week but heard nothing, so I sent a follow up email politely asking if the has received it - still nothing. I'm pretty sure I'm not what they are looking for, but a simple email telling me that would cost nothing and would be more professional than silence.

I got in touch with the office today, and they told me they're still waiting to hear from the client, who is also making changes to the script at the moment. They said they'd contact me as soon as they know more.
