I've just reopened Appen for the first time in aaages, and agreed, it looks confusing, I'm applying for everything... I'm not sure if I'll be accepted, or if I'll be able to do them if I am

How did you get on? I'm only doing one of the weekly social media surveys at the moment but every little helps.

Not a big fan of Appen tbh, so many good sounding jobs, but it's very rare they ever come to anything. I recently qualified for project Aquarius, which is done on the app, you have a week to do it, but of course when I checked there is no tasks available.

Online work getting very hard to come by atm, at least for me anyway, everywhere seems very dead.

Quick invoicing query - this month is the first where I've done both self reported and auto generated invoice work at the same time. Am I right in thinking any outstanding auto generated invoice should be added on Monday and that I need to wait until 5pm PST before I submit my invoice? (I usually submit straight away as I've only had self reported invoices).

I don't want to miss the extra payment, but I also most definitely don't want to miss the deadline for submitting my September invoice.

My auto-generated stuff usually gets added on a Tuesday. On the social tab, it says to submit invoices no later than Weds Oct 5 4pm pst, so you should be good to wait.

I'm waiting for one thing to be added too, I often find Tuesday or Thursday mornings random outstanding things get added. Just have to remember to submit it now.

I did it yesterday and it worked ok. Have you tried refreshing the page that sometimes works when the error message appears

Thanks, no refreshing didn't work for me. Could I ask which browser please? I've tried Safari and Chrome.

Something still wrong - the survey loaded this time but it had many fewer questions than is normal. I wonder if I'll still get paid. Oh well, it was only 10 or so minutes of my time if not.

Most odd.

Also don't appear to have had last week's payment added to my invoice - which usually happens on Tuesday.

My suggestion, if you experience this problem again, is to use Chrome in incognito mode. That resolved the issue for me.
