Not heard of this one. I'm doing the Nile project at the moment. It's pretty easy, but had trouble even starting it, don't find their instructions on beginning these projects always very clear, Still will see how it goes. They seem to send a list of projects on a weekly basis but there don't seem to be a lot of projects to apply for at the moment, maybe once I've been with them for awhile I will get more offers, hope so anyway. Good luck with the project.

From what I can tell from reading online they have a set few projects that they start people out on, Nile being one of them. If it's the one I'm thinking of it's also the one I first started on. Just so you know, I was booted from it spot on a year but some people have been kicked earlier. If it's the same as it was when I did it, it's very easy when you get started and I watched Netflix while doing it.

You might have more projects showing on connect (make sure you click all projects, not just the ones you've qualified for) but not necessarily.

I did 2 times Amur and can say "sh*t" :D I was expected to get some good items for Christmas or something useful, but both times I was disappointed :/ For example very expensive cheap chinese things I had to pay £9.99+£2.99 delivery for the item you can get in Poundland. First time I had 9 items, the second one 8 items but I cant say I get something nice :/ Last time I had the same ad for 3 times, so needed to buy 3 items from here, but problem is - that shop has only 1 item :D So had to buy 1 thing 3 times (very overprised stickers with personalised name). The first time I paid around £120, the second around £140.

Thank you - I was worried about this. Putting a lot of effort in it for some very basic items. I also thought the pay for the follow up survey was low. So not sure how much you would come out with apart from the items.

Im currently trying to study for another exam for what sounds like a good project so will put more effort int that one first.

OMG that's awful, I will be very wary now, I am fairly new to this and appreciate all the feedback about jobs, and what is ok and what to avoid.

It's my first day on Rattle today. Already had the email to ask if I want extra hours this week.

Waiting on Peppermint to see if anything appears too. I've never seen Appen say a project is long term up front so hopefully that works out well?

Maps! I actually haven't been able to get on another project since around March, I think it was and then Rattle and Peppermint showed up simultaneously. Rattle is really long term (been going for a few years) and they always have plenty of hours from what I've been told. A lot of the time you can go up to 35 per week if you're doing well.

My favourite one I've heard so far is Project Alkali. It's like someone's kid was asking for help with their chemistry homework while they were trying to work.

does anyone know how to delete a task from their Appen? I sometimes find i try to qualify for something, then realise it isn't suitable for me (eg requires facebook). So i don't complete submission but it remains on my task list-is there a way to get rid of these?
