Thanks @Jon! Don't know how I'm even going to find the time for it at the minute, I'm on another long-term Appen project with 10+ hours per week too. Can't complain though.

It’s good money and you can dip in and out with Yukon. There is a minimum number of tasks to do each month but you can breeze through 3minute ones to hit that

also remember that if a rating task takes 10mins but you do it in 5 then go make a cup of tea and hit submit after 10mins have passed

This has changed now, its no longer measured in minimum tasks, its minimum hours now!

As long as there's still some slacking opportunities... I miss the projects where I could spend 30 seconds on it and sit round for 5 minutes watching youtube. My current one I'm going full speed the whole time and barely meeting time requirements.

Totally depends on the task. Sadly it's going through a very dry period with no work for the whole day and then work dropping at 11pm when I am too tired to do it! I don't understand why they employ UK workers and then provide no work during normal working hours! It's very frustrating.

Appen inviting me to apply for web search evaluator work with them this morning by the looks of it.

while I wouldn’t say no to £600+ extra a month I’m not sure I’ve got it in me to go through the entrance exams!

Thanks. It's been over 8 months now! And although yes it's nice to have the extra money, it isn't always easy and it's seldom enjoyable so I do sometimes question my life choices! Will carry on with it until I either get booted or until my passive income means I can call it a day. (or my premium bond comes up)

I'm on the waiting list for Lionbridge for the web evaluation job, I've been on that waiting list for ages though. Can I apply for Appen as well or would this mess me being on that waiting list up? The sounds of the tests sound really hard as well. I am just so desperate for money right now.

The tests are hard but the money at the end is worth it - i think you can apply for both but I recommend only doing the exams one company at a time
Sorry to hear you are struggling for money at the moment, are you doing any of the other things talked about on here to bring some cash in?

Bum, got the email to say time is up on my ad rating project. I knew it would come as it is a 12-month project but had hoped they had forgotten me! Nevermind. It was good while it lasted, have one final week.

They have done something to it this last month. Im on a project but its so annoying as its just not loading the information.

Yep. And now it's not loading. Not sure if this is means they've already taken me off or that there is an actual problem. Will try again later.

Question on Appen invoice as this is the first time I'm doing this..

I'm missing a week's worth of work on the invoice and when I tried to add them, the drop down for the Project Name comes up empty, doesn't let me select anything, therefore, I cannot add.

Do they generate them weekly and maybe I will get missing days tomorrow?

Can I not submit them and wait until it adds up and submit all let's say in December?
