Not really sure what to do now, if I raise my stake at this point, I could lose the lot very quickly due to variance - gah.

Think I will stick with £2.50 for now and then can throw caution to the wind a bit closer to target.

I would take it to £5 for around 30 spins

then drop it to £2.50 if it's not going well

Glad I didn't see this comment till after this - as I had a horrible 200 spin run of peanut wins, clawed a little back, then thankfully just got this - think barring disaster I'm set to come out with at least something now!

Yep was a bit confusing but thank you so much - that really helped and I've now managed to place a bet on football tonight!

Thanks Pbrail - is Draw no Bet the same as draw? Looking at this on Betsafe site?

[member=2823]katbythesea[/member] No, not the same!

Holy moley - just looked at the Betsafe website, no wonder you're confused - that place is a minefield!

Ok, so.

On the left in the menu, select the Football. You didn't say which match you were planning to bet on so check the menu there and select the league or country your match is playing in. This changes the info in the Middle panel on the page.

Above this middle section there are Tabs - the first is Pro View and looks like it's the default option which is why it looks so complicated! Hit the button next to it and choose Main. That should hopefully bring up some matches with boxes to the right of the name "1 X 2"

This is the Home, Draw, Away options.

Hope that helps!

Edit: You can also see this in the Pro View just it's displayed in a slightly different way from most bookies. Basically the first column beside a match is called MATCH RESULT - this is the type of result you're looking to bet on. However it displays the bet options vertically instead of horizontally.

So if you chose Champions League from menu, you should see Real Madrid v Roma first in the middle panel. Then Match result appearing to the right of that match reads downwards

1 - Odds of 1.38

X - Odds of 5.25

2 - Odds of 7.75

Right spreadsheet downloaded. Need to pick up little one shortly so think I'm going to have a proper go at this Thursday when I've got a bit of time ;D

Seriously the variance on this slot is going to kill me. Huge wins followed by several hundred spins at 40-50 rtp - if I don't come away with something now I'm not sure what I'll be most gutted about. Being over £1k up at one point, or having this darn thing be a constant distraction for the best part of the day...

[member=920]katykicker[/member] Currently sitting at around £400 with about £1.3k left on wagering. Ordinarily I'd be confident at that ratio but the way this thing has been acting has been nuts!

If I can get 1 decent win at this point, I'm laughing. If not, then it's going to be nail-biting to the bitter end :p

OMFG, this slot - seriously, doing my head in. I was in my last 100 spins for busting out.

[member=920]katykicker[/member] [member=1]Jon[/member] [member=362]Kelzky[/member] [member=2508]Queen[/member] Won £240 and was just getting the screenie to post here and basically say 'phew' and this hit while I had the Reply to Post window open!

Mathematically impossible to bust out now - I am, however, a gibbering wreck...

Wow, amazing [member=1315]Pbrail[/member] - well done!!

What a crazy last couple of pages this thread has had.

I came to celebrate that I'd just won £85 on a virtuals offer with a £25 FB to come ([member=143]auntygeek[/member] get on it! - download the Betfred Virtuals app for a matched first bet up to £25) but my little win is quite insignificant it seems! Well, it's significant to me anyways :D :D

Right, after having a dabble in this last year I want to give it a go properly. I should have a Bank of £1000 ish - will that be enough to start earning from this?

Also need to download the spreadsheet to keep track of everything as last time I was just making notes as I went also but it was quite easy as I was only doing the odd bet here and there.

£1000 is more than enough! As Jon said, you'll be on your feet in no time! :D
