So sky bet are doing free £25 on Cheltenham 13:50 tomorrow if your bet loses. Clear favourite so backing & underlaying (as SNR) 2nd fav would have a £9 loss with £25 fb to come ie £11ish profit. If it wins then you're on an instant profit.

SO tempted but I just feel I shouldn't risk it. HORSEY HORSEY. Really easy and profitable offer tho!

Gone for their cash out offer instead. Gonna place a £2 acca on the favs and cash out for profit then get a free bet on top.

That's the thing... A regular mug punter wouldn't want to lose a bet even if they get a free bet in return right?? So it just looks odd.

Backing and laying the favourite still gets a profit - albeit it's halved from what you'd get for backing and laying the second favourite, but I'd rather look after my account a bit more.

Or I guess you could just do some actual gambling and bet on the favourite without laying, then if it wins then you're £20 up and if it loses you get your money back as a free bet and can back/lay that and hope to minimise your losses.

OH THANK GOD. I really quickly managed to get a lay in at deuce for 1.52, backed at 1.53. No qualifying loss.

Question. A match I have a bet on has been cancelled. Partick vs Dundee. I've emailed cs at the bookie to see what they will do with the bet. I only noticed as I looked at the exchange and there is now no record of the lay. Its possible I didn't lay it (schoolboy error) but I like to think the exchange automatically cancelled the bet and paid me the cash back. While I wait for the bookies, what do you think they will do? Cancel the bet? Have me lose the bet? IDK.

It'll refund automatically but as mentioned by SirV, sometimes they delay the refund if there's a chance that the match will take place again in the near future (ie tomorrow).

If it refunds straight away then you can just pop it straight on to another match to get the qualifier
