PS those of you (and me unfortunately) who have Accas with tonight's Real Madrid match in, then this match has been postponed and will make all 5 way accas into 4 way accas which unfortunately do not qualify for the free bet if one leg loses promotions

True... though there have been very few lock ins that are worth it this week. I only have 3 on the go, some bookies best offering were showing a 1.50 profit for a £50 bet

What is the preferred Acca strategy for you more experienced guys? Lay all at start, lay sequentially? Which gives the most consistent return?

I just do 90% normals and the rest I do as lock in to cover any losses I might make from My normals

When [member=1]Jon[/member] says 'normals' he means 'sequential'. Lock-in's are a variant of sequential. I do 90% sequential and 10% lay all.

With sequential you are aiming for one losing leg to get the free bet. With lay-all you are losing money on one losing leg but you make money on the other results. Lay-all's are good when there are a lot of matches in a short timeframe, and are usually best near the time (Saturday morning for the weekend, and Tuesday early evening for Champions League) as you are still looking for close matches and you are laying all legs at once. Also for SportingBet they have to be Lay-All as all legs have to settle on the same day. With sequential the lay odds will generally go down over the week so you can usually get to a zero loss scenario.

After a bit of a hiatus I'm back on the matched betting wagon, as it were... I've got holidays to save for! Maybe I'll even work up the courage to try accas/casino offers soon, heh...
