all sportsStrangely enough OM have also announced the same extension on their 0% deal today too- roll on Cheltenham!!!
PS is the PA deal just on horses or does it cover all bets as the OM one does?
TBH for anyone new to this and not having a PA or OM premium sub at the mo will be losing out as that 0% deal easily covers the monthly subscription in just commission savings.
It's really a great time in Matched Betting at the moment. We never had these sort of relationships with Exchanges a few years ago!!
Someone on OM said that as MB charge commission both ways normally then they are making money just by having the increased liquidity MBers bring (used to be a big issue with them), and of course that helps the odds look better and attracts normal punters to use them. That will be a good argument to keep it going past March and maybe up to the World Cup.

Just signed up to TMS and PA this week. This time last week I didn’t even know Match Betting existed. These forums and Jon and Katy Kicker’s blog have given me a great insight and was excited to try out MB and get started. Just placed my first bet plus free bet with Coral... eek!!!

Matched betting tips please every time I try I usually do football and it always ends 0-0result. Talk about luck. Then I have to wait for spair money to start again. What’s my best bet other than football? Many thanks in advance.

Matched betting tips please
I'm not sure I understand. Are you doing 2Up offers and so aren't getting a hoped for bonus payout?
Otherwise I'm worried about you saying you have to wait for spare money to start again as the result doesn't matter - you don't lose any money if the result is a draw. There is no 'bad luck' with Matched Betting.
Apologies if I've drawn the wrong conclusion from your comment and I'm about to tell you to suck eggs - I'd prefer to look dumb than the alternative. Are you sure you're understanding Matched Betting properly? If there's a Tottenham vs Arsenal game and you bet on Tottenham to win - the Match Bet opposite of that isn't to bet on Arsenal to win. You Lay the bet by betting on Tottenham to NOT win. That way if there's a draw, your Lay bet still pays out.
Can any OM members tell me what you get with OM vs PA seeing as the price is now more than the PA loyalty offer? I haven't been on in ages but I much preferred the PA acca tool and the way all the offers are explained.

Not on OM so can't answer that bit. Just wanted to say welcome back
I only came back to MB (and TMS) about a week ago myself and noticed you hadn't been around for a while either - you were one of the few names I remembered from when I was really active before!The OM 'loyalty' offer stays the same i.e. if you are currently on Premium your premiums stay the same, it is just for new users it increases.
You WERE 100% right about the acca tool and for a while I had both subscriptions just to have the PA acca tool. Now you are 10% right. OM (in addition to the individual tools for each type of acca) now has a similar acca tool to PA. PA tool allows you to select 'popular' matches and allows you to change the actual acca odds in the tool (the OM tool does a calculation of the acca odds based on the individual odds but doesn't go to more than 2 places so does not pick up the small differences - not a major difference but does have a small effect).
I think the way the offers are explained (including videos) is better on PA for beginners, but OM has a lot more offers
PA community used to be better but I think the OM community is now bigger and much better than PA.
The Oddsmatcher on PA is still far inferior to the OM one - number of bookies is much less and the OM one has an 'advanced' calculator built in
OM has a lot more tools than PA (PA does keep adding them but is still behind). The one tool that is behind PA is the Racing Matcher as this does not automatically update. Tools it does have are: Tennis Matcher (useful this week), Each Way Matcher, Extra Place Matcher (I find v useful for the golf), and Dutch Matcher (plus the already mentioned suite of acca tools).
