that's a good days work there

were you offered triangle-cut sandwiches in william hill?

I don't usually eat on Saturdays between 9-3 lol, what filling were they?

No food on offer around here - except Grand National Saturday! Goodness. I hate Sharbing that day

You'll be fine and you're joining 2 months before Cheltenham so I would say you will have made £2000+ by the end of march ;)
I joined om and have nearly done all the bet x get x as a free bet offers how can you make £2000 in less than 2 months? Am I missing something

I'm a huge advocate of MB and the money you can make from it, but I'm also a voice of caution too for new people starting it. Yes, you can absolutely make £2k between now and Cheltenham. No, you can't do it without a big bank roll.

Even if you make £1k from the Sign Up offers, it takes time if you start with a small bankroll because you're waiting for money to move around from bookies to exchanges.

There is a Challenge on PA that started yesterday to make £1k between now and Cheltenham (I'm pretty sure they're going to make more than that though as they are an Admin and know their stuff). The person doing it is starting with all accounts open + an already established £1k Bank Roll - they commented on how they struggled with liquidity yesterday.

I think sometimes people forget after a while what it was like when starting MB from scratch - it takes a while to build a healthy bank roll (something that I've been reminded of a bit myself as I've just come back to MB properly last week so am starting with a small bank roll again), and completing all the sign ups takes time..

The bright side is that it does get exponentially better/faster as your bank roll grows :)

The guy who runs it just dropped me a line to say it's being worked on at the moment.

If you are just wanting to do a free trial and get on with MBing then you could use PA or OM in the meantime both of which have free trials.

Hey @auntygeek !

I've been wondering where you went as you were a guru to me and my MB journey! :D

Hope you are well.

:)

Hey!! Another name I recognise! How's your MB-ing going? Still doing it? I'm still gutted at the 888 kick offer going, that was so lucrative for me as I had nailed the free bet on that. The 15% free bet bonus on Hills can be done for no QL with the boost, but it's pennies unless you get one at high odds... and relies on you winning.

I had a fantastic win on 2UP with the last 365 free bet offer... I did Liverpool to win as my quali, and they went 2 up so 365 paid out, then of course it finished 3-3 so I won my lay bet as well... fantastic!

Are people doing accas much?

Depending on your bankroll, I calculated a while back if you start with £50 you can get up to £2-3k in about 3 months by doing all the sign-up offers available. The sign-ups may have changed since I did that calculation but it takes a little bit of time to get going as you have to wait for bets to settle and then withdraw from one bookie to deposit into another. Once you've built your bankroll you'll have funds in smarkets plus the major bookies constantly and won't need to keep withdrawing and depositing.

GO REALLY CAREFUL with Cheltenham if you've just signed up. Only do a couple of offers for the big races - e.g. Gold Cup... brand new accounts are watched carefully and if you sign up then do every single Cheltenham offer then you're likely to get limited or gubbed (restricted from promos) very quickly. I had a 4 month old Ladbrokes account and did two offer races on the first day of Cheltenham then was instantly limited/gubbed. Others like Will Hill are a bit more lenient. There's always next year, so don't do too much too soon.

That's a good motto for MB in general - just take it steady, profit is profit, and get an account profile before hammering accas or Cheltenham or other offers. Just some regular bets at the weekend on Premier League, some £1 accas at 100.0 odds etc, bet inplay, just let them see you're a Regular Joe not a bonus hunter.

And EXACTLY as @Pbrail said - excellent point!

When I started out I kept every penny of my profit for my bankroll, which really helped, but it does take a couple of months to get it to a really healthy level without big wins.

Hello, just catching up on this thread, been a bit quiet last few days as signed up to the PA premium account so slowly working my way through the sign up offers and trying to read and learn as much as poss as I go along. So much info in those forums, quite overwhelming too but all incredibly helpful. Trying not to get too bogged down as there is so much to learn still but taking it one day at a time. Great advice from @auntygeek and @Pbrail on just taking it all steady - thanks!
I’ve done about 4/5 sign ups but only started Friday so taking time to get cash back to move on to next. Also made my first mistake today couldn’t get a match on Betfair so cancelled it, has this once before and just re-calculated and re-layed which worked out ok but this time i didn’t realise a partial match had gone through. I thought when I was cancelling the unmatched part, I assumed all lay bet was cancelled to start again. Did this twice, not realising what it was doing, so have 2 partially matched and 1 matched against the same one bet silly me. So now my liability is £16 rather than £6 so will prob lose £10 if lay doesn’t win. I guess I should be thankful I learned my lesson on a small qualifying £5 bet!!
Also, is it best just to work my way through the sign up offers and build my bank roll for now? There seems a lot to take in with Acca’s, casino and bingo offers etc. Have looked at some info to start learning but didn’t want to confuse myself too much at this early stage! Thanks and sorry for the rambling newbie post ☺️

Hello @Brandi yes i recommend doing the sign up offers because you wont have must of the bookies the reload have.

the sign up offers also increase in difficulty so it will eventually get to ACCA deals.

Make sure you mug bet here and there after you completed the offer , just build up a profile on each account

You can place an additional back bet. Probably not with the same bookie, but the odds at others may be the same (or better if you are lucky). Another possibility is to place a 'cancelling' back bet with Betfair (this is not ideal as you will end up paying the commission, but you could wait until nearer the event and find the odds have moved in your favour and so covering the commission - I wouldn't advise waiting necessarily though as with a £16 liability I expect you are betting at low odds and these generally go lower rather than higher)
