Hello @Brandi yes i recommend doing the sign up offers because you wont have must of the bookies the reload have.

the sign up offers also increase in difficulty so it will eventually get to ACCA deals.

Make sure you mug bet here and there after you completed the offer , just build up a profile on each account
Thanks @Cas for your reply, that helps! Should I already be mug betting the accounts were I have completed the sign up offers? Only done 4 sign up offers so far. Also is it ok for me to withdraw all my winning funds? Was trying to keep a bit in some accounts but kinda need the cash to proceed with other offers but also don’t want to look bad by withdrawing.

You can place an additional back bet. Probably not with the same bookie, but the odds at others may be the same (or better if you are lucky). Another possibility is to place a 'cancelling' back bet with Betfair (this is not ideal as you will end up paying the commission, but you could wait until nearer the event and find the odds have moved in your favour and so covering the commission - I wouldn't advise waiting necessarily though as with a £16 liability I expect you are betting at low odds and these generally go lower rather than higher)
Ah I see what you’re saying, didn’t think of that. A bit scared to do that in case I make another mistake. Basically I would need to find a back bet where my stake is about the same as the liability on Betfair, is that right?

You are looking to get rid of the ADDITIONAL part of the lay bet. If you are placing a back bet at another bookie then you need to place a back bet that when you calculate the lay bet for that (at the odds you already have on BF) equals that additional lay stake. If you are doing this on Betfair then if you have the settings set up to show your winnings - green - or losses -red- underneath the match selections then when you start entering the figures for the back bet it will show the figures changing and you need to get the lay - red - figure back to what you should have had in the first place.

Thanks so much! Worked it out and matched it up so my total loss is just less than a pound either way. Better than taking a gambler and possibly losing a tenner so thanks for the explanation, didn’t have a clue! And in the process it means I have also placed a mug bet on Coral.

Have you also signed up for the weekly Coral Free Bet club, as your mug bet may take you close to the £25 threshold.

Ah no I haven’t, didn’t know about that one - Cheers! Will have a look and see if I can sign up. My mug bet was only about £9 though.

@Brandi Don't worry about acca's yet, don't even think about them - they are definitely more advanced and if you mess them up then it can be costly (plus can tie up your bank roll when you might be wanting it for your signups).

Just plod your way through the sign ups, browse the Reload section for any bookies you might already have joined, check out the bookies that have loyalty clubs (Paddy etc) as any mug bets can also qualify for those which in turn give more free bets, and stick with Risk Free Casino offers initially.

Once you start feeling comfy with all the base line stuff and have a bit of bank roll and confidence behind you, then you can spread your wings and fly! :D

Don't worry about withdrawing from bookies, believe it or not they do expect people to win and withdraw too - that's what a regular punter would do after all :)

As for mugging, personally I wouldn't bother if all you have done is the sign up so far (if a bookie gubs you at that point, I highly doubt any amount of mugging would save your account anyhow), but rather something to think about once you start on the reloads.

Thank you so much @Pbrail, that’s all extremely helpful advise and I now feel less stressed seeing the mountain of information that has just appeared before me.
I’m having a little laugh at myself being worried for withdrawing money, as if people like winning money just to leave it at the bookies!

Once you can afford to tie up £100 and it not effect your day to day betting then that is when you might consider accas, maybe once you have completed the Bet365 sign-up

@Brandi Agree with others - don't worry about mug betting or reloads. Focus on getting all the sign ups done and withdraw from the bookies straight away to put it into your exchange. Many of the bookies on sign ups you won't touch again as they never have reloads so don't worry about withdrawing.

Also I wouldn't join the free bet clubs right after opening your account, even if you get an invitation. A friend of mine joined the Sky one after getting an invite right after opening the account and was gubbed straight way. The ongoing weekly offers are great profit, so if you wait for a couple of months and keep placing bets every week before you join, it will increase your chances of more money longer term.

The accounts to start mugging as soon as you have the bankroll are - Sky, Coral, Will Hill and Paddy Power.

Also I would use Smarkets not Betfair - only 2% commission so saves a bit extra money.

Also if you're doing multiple offers at once, try to use the same game. Eg if you place a qualifier on Man U v Chelsea, Man Utd to win, place your free bet on the draw (if it's a decent match). That way you save on commission, can be as much as 50p per match which really adds up over time. It also means you use less liability.

FINALLY - Don't forget to check Top Cashback... you get cash back on top of the signup offers, you can make several hundred extra by doing that!

I actually disagree about joining the bet clubs as I think regular punter would join them, especially if you got an invite - however I think that does actually go to show that there can be little rhyme or reason behind why Traders decide to gub!

The Paddy Power Club requires 5x £10 bets over certain odds. I joined it the first week and then simply didn't place enough bets to qualify for the freebie. I think that looks far more muggy than not joining at all.

Talking of slots, had my first 'proper' go at one today - Betfair £10 Bonus with 20 x wagering I got from a £10 slots offer last week (which I STUPIDLY thought I would get a cash refund for losing, sigh!).

Managed to play through £148 worth of games before losing it - not bad for £10 bonus though. I KNOW I ended up £10 down but it was a good learning curve for me on the slots, I suppose. Played it on Frankie - took me about 3 hours though as I was totting up my 'wins' to try and keep track (for my own benefit).

Doubt I'll ever reach Jon's standards, mind!
