Ok, thanks for the help!
You don't really want your bet to 'win' at the bookies because then all your money will go to the bookies when you really want it in the exchange. If it goes to the bookies you may need to withdraw it to use it again and that can take days.

Just did the 30 free spins on WIll Hill and won £5.60. I don't generally like doing the slots but I might change my mind.

I won 31p on the boat race yesterday thanks to an odds boost. It was just going to be a mug bet, but yay.

Anyone know what the deal is with the horse racing Beta section on Unibet? I thought it was just testing a different webpage or something but I know see it has completely different odds. I was going to place a bet on a horse that odds monkey showed as being 2.88 on uni against 2.94 on the exchange. When i went to unibet the normal horse racing section was indeed 2.88 but the Beta section was showing odds of 3.0 So obviously i took that and the bet was accepted as normal.

Does anyone else know something about this that I don't? I can't understand why they would have different odds for the same race on the same site.

Sounds like they are still migrating Stan James into their website lol

Underlaying and Overlaying

Am having a horsey day - lots of offers today. Just trying to get my head round when to over or under lay.
For example, if I'm getting on a free bet if 2nd, I could underlay and that way if I win, I have no QL - is that correct or do I have it the wrong way round?

For the free bet if 2nd offer I would lay the normal amount to equalise the QL, win or lose. You could underlay and have no QL if it wins but if it finishes 3rd or worse you'd have a bigger QL and no free bet to compensate.

Well as I've mentioned before, I'm pretty risk averse with casino offers and stick almost entirely to risk free and free spins.

Free spins can get a bit dull and frustrating when you make very little. William Hill have got 30 seconds of free spins a day at the moment and 4 of those days I had dead spins and up until yesterday I'd made about £4 total from the others.

So then yesterday I won...

£1000! (yep not a typo, a THOUSAND pounds!)

Holiday I think?

I almost didn't do them either, I was in a bit of a hurry to get on with something else and was about to skip doing it, then changed my mind. I was almost annoyed when it hit a jackpot bonus thing before I realised how high it was going as I thought "damn this is taking longer than 30 seconds".

That is brilliant!
Just shows it is worth doing the free spins and there is the possibility of winning big money!
