In a "Only One Possible Winner" market, the exchanges only take the worst case liability

£46 profit, on low odds too, could have earned much more but didn't want to risk emptying to much of my exchange as already have a lot of money tied up for the world cup.

I'll be honest. I've been too busy to do much matched betting over the last week and as such haven't made the most of the World Cup offers.

That said, i've spent all night looking over them and not much really jumps out. Certainly these back the top goalscorer for a £2 bet when he scores are not worth the hassle for me unless not laying. Considering the top scorers usually get around 6/7 goals.

Good thing is, there's lots of value to be had throughout so i'm still hoping to make a nice profit.

layed as normal by mistake at £9.78 state with £35.21 liability

Quick question. If for example one backs Spain to win the WC at 7.00 and you don’t lay immediately, then they say win their group comfortably, and maybe a big team gets knocked out, the odds for Spain to win should go lower, right? So although risky, you could lay later? Not saying this is what I’m doing, but I’m just thinking over every case scenario..

looks like you layed too much.

you may have to cash out £2.17 to balance things out .
