So first acca done, unfortunately Napoli failing to win meant i had 2 legs lost, new question, when doing the Lads ones, on the acca finder it comes up with all the prices at Lads, but when you place them on Lads they give a price boost.. should i take the price boost and change the odds on the acca finder, or stick with unboosted prices? I have changed the prices on the Acca finder but not yet placed
You can take the odds boost if you want just remember to change the numbers on the acca finder and keep an eye on the Qualifying Loss as you don't want it to be too big.

I tend to do 4 normal accas a week and one lock in to cover any qualifying losses I might have ;)

I would use the boost and change the prices in the acca finder. It will give you a little bit of a buffer if some of prices drift later on.

should have cashed out at 2-2. lesson learned
I cashed out @ 2-0 (45%), and @ 2-1 (20%), and @ 2-2 (10%) - so a £120 profit. Not the £240 if it had stayed 2-2 and I had cashed out nothing beforehand but a lesson already learned from many of these.

I've done really well the past few days! Sportpesa have really upped their game, and Bethard's had some great offers!

Cheers Jon.. this is the acca as it stands just now, i just had a look at training vid on OM and the acca finder is slightly different from the one in video... on that at the far right is a column with outcome W or L for whether the bet won or lost, on my Acca finder it is "LAY" outcome W or L

Here is a third screenie from another Acca i have on... but next leg is not till tomorrow...on it the first bet also won (Ajax won) i havent ticked W or L yet... what would be my next course of action? If in click L it will tell me to stop laying, if i click W it tells me to lay Lazio at £10.69... so i would have placed £10 at bookie and £19.60 at Smarkets... that correct?
Cheers any help this doing my nut in

Not sure if I have done the right thing here - I was just about to place an in play bet on Young Boys having placed the lay bet and United scored. The odds on YB doubled so I just placed it anyway. While I was looking for information as to what to do Utd scored again.

Is there something I should have done or was leaving it right?

@mabozza Your lay stake will increase for every leg you lay whilst the acca is winning. This is because, if a leg loses, the lay stake return has to cover the loss of your original bookie stake plus the liabilities from the previous winning legs.

Your Lazio lay stake of £19.60 will cover most of your stake and Ajax liabilities if Lazio lose. If Lazio win, you'll pay the liability for Lazio and your next leg lay stake will increase to cover your original stake, Ajax and Lazio liabilities - in effect you're nibbling away at the overall winnings pot.

If the whole acca wins, all your lay stake liabilities will be covered by the bookie winnings, less the overall ql for the acca.

If one leg loses, your free bet will cover any short fall between original stake and liabilities from winning legs plus give you a small profit.

Hope this helps

You did the right thing in the situation you described. However, you got lucky because the goal scored moved the odds in your favour this time. Unless you are happy running the small risk that a goal could go in while you are making your bets it is always best to place inplay bets during half time when odds are more stable.

Anyone else googling "how do exchanges deal with dead heats" at the moment?

They should do it the same as the bookies - halve your stake, so a £10 bet becomes a £5 bet (or a £10 liability becomes a £5 liability)

Yes looks like they have. No problem there then.

The question now is will the bookies still honor their 4/1 winner type offers??

Not the best day - everything went into the bookies. To make it worse, I had a brain freeze and traded Man City after Bet365 had paid out :(.

NOTHING on the horses today!

Disgusting!!

I feel your pain. Although I'm only using Betfair Sportsbook for the horse offers at the moment.

The highlight of my day was finding £30 sitting in an old Virgin Games account that I had forgotten about. :D
