I think it is best to stick to saturday races or big events if you do any. I'm the same with horses, not really done many, the odds move too fast, especially just beforehand AND the liability is HUGE for small returns!

That is becoming more common unfortunately. I noticed a cheeky one from William Hill last week. £10 roulette bonus with x30 wagering. But look closer and the T&Cs say roulette will only contribute to 50% of wagering contributions, so effectively it is x60.
