Yeah, it was because only one 'interviewer' for the winning jockey was allowed, so Matt was the feed for everyone (even the foreign news feeds) so he was 'officially' doing the interviews on behalf of Ascot not ITV

Yeah I think it might happen (although I expect some teams will object as they won't have had the 'advantage' of home fans and they won't want anyone else to have an unfair advantage). You can only ever have two fans per row as there is no way you would be able to pass someone in the same row

See I am DIEING to back to watching Super League again and going to Leeds Rhinos Games. Our ground holds about 18,000 and we have probably 6000-7000 season ticket holders so we could easily spread around the ground.

Sadly because the sport if full contact I think it won't return until August at the earliest!

yeah I mean the ratings for ITV racing must totally dwarf that of Attheraces/sky racing /racing channel

I am FAR happier with ITV racing than I was with Channel 4 racing which was stuck in a sort of 'we are just for racing fans' loop and apart from the grand national or chelts where they wheeled out claire balding they never bothered trying to get new viewers.

They kept mentioning today about how they were the host broadcaster for the world feed today so I wonder how much they get paid for that from all the different broadcasters around the world

Definitely agree. I would be considered an 'expert' on Racing by most people I know, but I learnt a few things this week in the 'explanation' pieces.

They would not get anything as it would be part of the contract with Ascot, but most of the time they will get a reciprocal 'favour' for, say, a big US event anyway
