I covered the field on the 5th place and overall made about £400 (most of the field was covered on already gubbed, but not stake restricted accounts)

You made £400 in one day??????

And I was quite happy that almost all my money ended up in the exchanges!

:) I did :) I covered the field so knew I'd hit 5th place, and had £15 each way on the horse in 5th place, which was one of the outsiders. I can't explain how this one works, but I think it's I won the bet at the exchange (as it was on the 1-4 market) and at the bookies who paid out on the 5th place. You win on the e/w part of the bet.

Extra places can be a very nice earner if you hit, but they don't seem to have them very often. I've now been gubbed by BFSB and Paddy. I lost BFSB last Cheltenham but can still put on reasonable amounts with them, and covered a lot of horses with them. I've never officially been gubbed by Paddy but big stake restrictions.

Just to add - I'm also very happy when my money ends up in the exchanges. Sadly I now need to withdraw a lot to pay a very hefty credit card bill, so unsure how to build up again.

I've had to build up before after withdrawing a lot, it's the exact same strategy as any other time, just with a lower bankroll so it goes a bit slower.

Thanks. I had a feeling that would be the case. I will be staying away from the risky slots offers etc - I trust the EV, but with a lower bank, I'd rather build this back up first

hi im new to this and i was just trying to explain to my husband but he has said to me how can it work because if you put a bet on for a win and then one for a lose but then they draw then you would not get anything? do you find this happens a lot and that you will have to make some losses? Just i was reading it as it is risk free but there still seems to be a slight risk unless im getting this all wrong!

You are not betting on the win and betting on the loss, you are betting on a result (win/lose/draw) and then betting AGAINST that same result. e.g. betting on the win and against the win (so both the draw and loss are covered). If done correctly (following the instructions) there is no risk. You will make a small loss (we call this a Qualifying Loss - QL) on your initial bets, but then will receive a free bet (or bets) on which you will make a profit. This profit will more than offset your QL and you will have a net profit. This is the case for sign-up offers. Ongoing offers are a bit more involved and have a small element of risk, but you will gain enough knowledge/experience doing the sign-up offers to allow you to tackle these.

Sorted. I managed to make £23 from my 2 £5 coral FB yesterday. Wasn't able to access at half time so did during the game, just placed my bet and a goal was scored changing the odds massively in my favour. Happy days. As t*esco says, every little helps.

Has anyone got their BET365 refund yet?

The 50% back for the EW bets on the Grand National? Or a different refund.

I had my EW bet refund as soon as I placed the bets.

Not having a bad month so far doing no casino offers.

Get a 150% virgin offer with only x2 wagering and manage to lose £2 on it. Sums up my complete casino experience and reinforces why i won't be touching them for a while.

I was out for dinner for my dad's birthday during the whole match but still managed to get my bet on... couldn't miss out on that! I didn't get the best match as I was trying to fart arse around with two phones but managed to make about 32 squids from it :) Luckily my parents were cool about me grumbling in the corner for 5 minutes ;D
