Many thanks for your reply And info, could I ask have you had gubbed sites that eventually go back and start offers again..
So is the better way to place mug bets on the sites you are hitting on the offers etc ...Guess losing Betway isn't the end of the world Someone had to be my first..

Could I ask all ya fine folk out there reading this, how many gubbed sites have ya had, come on who's winning on this ...

Hi @MAX POWER - I'm gubbed by Betway, Unibet, Sky, Coral - was gubbed by Lads too but got that one back, for now.
Best word of advice I would give to ANY 'newbie' is to start off with the lesser known bookies when you are still in the learning zone as then it does not matter as much if you lose them.

I try and put 'mug' bets on occasionally but don't go mad with them as not convinced how much they matter. I tend to go for matches that are NOT above 98% though (contrary to suggestions, I know) as I think taking less 'value' from the bookie that way may help.

Whatever you do, don't go for matches above 100% - unless you are gubbed with that bookie - in which case you CAN go above 100% - though they will probably restrict your betting stakes, so do them whilst you can

Keep up the mug betting so you don’t just look like a bonus hunter and you’ll be fine

Thanks Jon guess it's a lesson to be learnt, just done some mug bets now on a few sites I've been hitting on a little, guess it's nothing when laying off the bet your only down -25p ish on a £5.00 bet yep..

Ungubbing. Not personally but Jon has posted about some sites doing this, I would like Coral back but the others I've just withdrawn and abandoned.

Gubbed at McBookie, Racebets, Skybet, Coral/LB, Betway, Moplay, Genting, 888.
McBookie I can see why I was gubbed - close matches, very random bets, no mugs.
Racebets gub everyone.
Moplay I can't understand.
888, Genting, Betway, fair enough but I was doing mug bets.
Coral I was doing mug bets but I wasn't with Ladbrokes and the gubbing came together.
Skybet I think was due to doing (mostly unprofitable) SkyVegas offers.

Interesting that you was doing the mug bets, but still got gubbed. Not sure what more ya can do to hide that you are MB, thanks for the info and advice......

Think I hold the record: Coral, ladbrokes, Betfred, Skybet, Betway, Betvictor, BetBright, 888, Star Sports, Paddy Power and Black Type have all gubbed me.
Can't say I have found any pattern in the gubbings although a few might have come from overdoing casino offers leading them to inspect my whole account more closely, as I was hammering the risk free offers week in week out.

I still make a few quid from the rest but certainly not as much as I used to.

I am gubbed by Coral, Ladbrokes, Skybet, Betfair Sport, Boyles Sport, Moplay, Betway, and Bwin. Only ones that I really used was regularly Sky Bet and coral.

Not sure - maybe still did 1 or 2 bets as had money in the account but I got an email out the blue giving me a £10 free bet as 'they had not seen me for a while', ha ha!
Some sort of glitch maybe, so just enjoying it while it lasts as I have still lost Coral

Might give it a whirl. I’ve heard you can get coral back too. Need to try that before Cheltenham!!

Know it sounds a little paranoid but ya think it's easy for the bookmakers to pick up on ya from sites like PA or OM.

Bookmakers pick up on your matched betting from your betting patterns and also if you are jumping on arbs and boosts all the time. Having said that, there was an instance I remember of someone from the oddsmonkey forum being gubbed because he used the same username on OM as his account name on the bookies site. They even quoted one of his oddsmonkey posts back at him when he disputed it, so they are on there sniffing around.

You need the big sites to make the most money but can still make a respectable amount from the lesser knowns, you just have to work a bit harder.

So there’s a super boost on Skybet for Saturdays footie. Three accas with three different outcomes. Max bet £10 each. Is it likely to look dodge if you backed (and layed) all three scenarios? I usually do the sky acca boosts so it’s a familiar pattern, but just wondered if anyone had any thoughts?

You'll probably gutted gubbed quicker by taking all three at max stakes allowed. If I had Skybet again, I'd mix 1 of those in with some EV+ casino stuff and not max out the stakes.
