Oh no!! Nightmare!! How’s tricks otherwise??
Hi, @Lizziew24 , sorry I've not replied sooner - things are abit up and down at the minute, and never seem to have enough hours in the day but otherwise I'm okay (for now).
Still struggling to make much with mb'ing - I seem to spend hours waiting to get close odds on stuff (even WITH the oddsmatcher), so invariably end up not placing many bets at all - I'm still slow at doing it anyway, double-checking the calculator against the bets etc.

Onwards and upwards hopefully for us all this year :)

Those are the ones you see most bookies advertising a lot where you can bet on corners, bookings and result in the same match (Sky calls it RequestABet). All the good names for this were gone so Betfair/PP went for "Same Game Multi"

Hi, @MAX POWER for the betfair sportsbook ones (BFSB) it is sometimes possible to lay the bets off - if you can get odds that are fairly close to each other.

A quick run-down for you, and others (I'm on a desktop, so may be slightly different layout):

Go to Betfair, click on the Sportsbook tab.
Pick the football match you are interested in doing.
Look for the 'Same Game Multi' tab near the top (circled in red), click on it, to bring up your options.

You can now pick your options. Minimum of 3 needed for the free bet bonus to work.
To do a bet that is layable, try the following:

Pick a team to bet on,
select BTTS - YES, (both teams to score)
select Over 1.5 goals (make sure this is for the TOTAL goals and NOT for half time goals etc), for both teams to score there HAS to be at least 2 goals :)

You can LAY this as a Winner BTTS on Smarkets

Use the Normal Calculator to see if it is worth doing - set it to SNR mode - 0% commission at Betfair (no commission for BFSB back bets) - and whatever commission you are currently on at Smarkets exchange.

**Make sure the 'bonus' is showing in the BFSB slip and that it is selected to use this for the bet.
As you get into them more you can try other alternatives, or just treat it as a punt/advantage play and add more options.

Good luck :)

Just got this from oddsmonkey

Hey Jon,

You may already know we have teamed up with Smarkets to offer you 0% commission on all bets placed through them. This offer was only supposed to run until 15th January 2019, however we have GREAT NEWS!

Smarkets have decided to extend this offer until 31st March 2019.

IMPORTANT: You MUST opt-in to receive this offer, even if you have previously opted in to past offers.

The reason you have to opt-in again is that the new offer does not apply if you are using Paypal etc for deposits -
"This offer cannot be used in conjunction with Skrill, Neteller, Trustly, or Paypal deposits. These services will not be available for deposits on opted-in accounts from 16th January 2019."

If you are still in the middle of the 30 day cycle then you have to still opt-in, but you don't need to use the Smarkets integration until the 30 days is up (if you only use the integration to refresh the offer)

Hiya Guys just wanted a little advice on the horse refunds, a lot of the offers are Free bet if your horse comes in 2nd or 3rd to winner being Fav at SP etc, do I take it you just bet and lay one horse, and hope it comes in 2nd or 3rd, or would you bet on a couple if horses to give ya better chance..
Thanks guys.. MAX

Usually the T&Cs state only your first bet on each race counts towards the promotion. You can of course try to cover several horses through different bookmakers. You need close odds to make it worthwhile though otherwise you can quickly ramp up quite a qualifying loss.

My rules for doing these offers:

Race must have a clear favourite under 3.5
Only a few other obvious contenders for a place
Selected horse should be one of the obvious contenders for a place, preferably in the region of 4 to 6
All other horses should be outsiders with three legs and one eye.
Only bet near the start of the race so you know who the favourite is as the odds could change quite a bit.

The 3.40 at lingfield looks a possible contender if you can get a good match and the odds don't alter. In this example below I would want to be on Gantier or Allocator. Preferably both through two different bookies. (edit - i didnt check if any were actually doing the offer for this race.)

This is fine in theory although the sad truth is the bookes know the same thing and the ones doing these offers are likely to slash the odds on those horses, still you can occasionally get lucky.

(the simple bet and get or refund if 1st or 2nd offers are always more profitable than these)

Aye hit and hope

IMO the best thing for you to do would be to do Betfair's 4.0 and above horse refund offfer (ie, get the winner with odds of 4.0 and above). Its just a straight £25 refund if you get it and you can set them all up on Saturday lunchtime or late morning and then just go out for the day and hope for the best!
