Looking on TV it looks very cold at Aintree.

Anytime the Grand National is on tv I get annoyed just how money I spent going to the grand national in previous years.. You go all that way, you pay all that money and you are still peeing in a portacabin because of the sheer number of people at the event!!

It was and still is very cold and wet in AIntree. Living a couple of miles away makes getting around difficult on the Saturday - not so bad today and Friday.

Hi, just been checking into this, no I'm still on the learning curve..Is this offer just for the national only, also is it one bet on the race that you get the refund or can you place 4 or 5 bets on national and get money back that way...Thanks MAX

Its only on the Grand National but you can place several bets on the race to be refunded up to the full £125

And then the ITV production team complain about the smell and kick you out

@jkg-jkg how do I find out which accounts can be got back again and which ones can't? Thanks.
That is a difficult one, you can only go by what others say in the forums on OM or PA (or here). @Jon has got Coral and WH back (if my memory serves) - but I have to say I haven't (yet).

Those I think go in the "not a chance" list are: Betway, Betfred (Totesport), Bet365, Betfair Sportsbook, Boylesports, Paddy Power and Unibet. Others can comment if they think others belong on that list (or you can get those in that list back)

In answer to the question about whether you can do 5 x £25 E/W bets for the Bet365 offer, that is what I have done for the last two years & I got the refund. Just make sure you read the T&Cs to make sure there aren't any hidden pitfalls. I didn't touch 365 today & won't tomorrow either. I did manage a £5 free bet from the Betfair Sportsbook 3/1+ winner offer though :)

Can e/w bets be laid? I wouldnt mind doing a bit on the Bet365 offer but cant see how anything can be made if they cant.

Yes you can, you do two lays for each horse you have backed, one lay in the win market & one lay in the place market.

There are ways of calculating this by using the Each Way Calculator on OM & I presume something similar on PA.

Can I ask why ya staying off the bet365
MAX

I never touch them for Racing other than the big ones like National day or Cheltenham - I just don't think it is worth the risk of losing the account, although you probably would get away with using it today to be fair.

I haven't bet with Betway for ages... they gubbed and restricted me a looong time ago now. I placed a bet on there yesterday (mainly to correct a mistake I made somewhere else) and I have now a "bonus" amount in my funds I would either have to wager through or forgo if I wanted to withdraw.

What does this actually relate to? Is there something ongoing or are they actually restricting my own winnings from yesterday and putting some to a bonus?

In case no one knows, I've put a bet on today to see what happens...

You didn't bet on the race that gave the free £10 bonus yesterday did you?
They have another one day - Place a £10 bet on the Race Winner market of the 14:20 Aintree on Friday. You will only receive a £10 free bet i
