So I've been withdrawing some funds which go back to my bank via debit card. Except I lost my card! So i need to cancel and get a new one - does anyone know what will happen to pending withdrawals??

@Castro, the first thing you need to do/have done, is contact your bank to cancel the card so that they can issue a new one. I think any pending withdrawals should still go through okay as they will relate to your account number and not just the card itself.

With regards to your NEW card - if this is basically just a replacement card there should not be too much hassle fortunately.

If your bank issue you with a completely new card with different 'long number' then it can be a bit of a pain in the backside (happened to me recently when my bank cancelled the card due to unexpected 'activity' on it).
In this case you will need to wait up to 7 working days to receive your new card and pin number before you can contact all your bookie accounts to let them know and update your card details.

With some bookies you will be able to change the details manually in your account but a few might have to be contacted to do it for you. In all cases you WILL have to make a (small) deposit with your NEW card before you are able to withdraw anything to it (for money laundering reasons).

Could be worse - it could have happened days before Cheltenham, like me - eek!

If the old card is cancelled by your bank then I was told that any withdrawals to it should still be okay in the interim as it will relate to you and your account.

Good luck :)

Yes, I was also gubbed recently by MoPlay but not TOO bothered as their odds were crap until just before the matches/games started. I did enjoy the occasional free spin offers though :(

Are you not using the email alerts built into the Oddsmatcher - I find this saves me a lot of time finding close matches (mostly for football, but can also be good for horses the night before or early in the morning).
Sorry for not replying sooner @jkg-jkg - no, I am not set up for email alerts as I use a desktop pc and don't always have my emails account open, plus by the time I would have logged into the respective accounts, the odds etc would no doubt have changed anyway.

I've never really got into the horses (apart from the big events and very occasional weekend bets) as the odds can change too quickly, even before the race when it is properly manic and the liability needed is huge compared to the footie.

I rarely use them for horses, but the odds on football don't tend to change too quickly so they can be useful for them

Hi @rninja could I ask is that a better way on the EP bets to cover half the field..I have just been doing one horse per race etc, still getting around 1in 4 winners.
I guess if ya cover more the QL is more but ya got more chance of a winner yep .what sort of stake on the e/w bets do you go for.. many thanks for your reply in advance...MAX
Hi, it's down to personal preference. What is your max QL for the race?
I think with the 1/5 the odds each-way it's tough nowadays.
I mostly did EP races on the Cheltenham festival at £25 to £50 e/w with Betfred, 32red, Unibet, Betstars who were offering 1/4 the odds each way. I was covered on around 10 horses in 19 runner fields at 5 places 1/4 e/w.
It's not something you wanna go chasing, stick to low QL and see what happens!

Last weekend for the Championship isn't it!

Sad about the football season coming to close but at least we have all the NEW SEASON offers in August to look forward to!!

used to make a FORTUNE from that 'place 3 bets with 888sport on your 3 teams' offer back in the day!

Just a heads up that there is ITV racing today, just in case anyone triggered the Bet365 risk free bet on the last race yesterday like I did a thought the next race wasn't until next weekend. You need to be on the 1.50 @ newmarket today for the risk free.
