Hi, newbie signing in for first time. Been match betting just over 2 months.
Thought I'd share a little something I've found, forgive me if you already know!!
Every day ladbrokes has one race whereby if you lose you get 10 free spins, if you win you get 5. I've managed to arb it 3 days out of 4 and made between £3-£6 on the spins every day. It's always at approx 3.00 and you can access it via the games section, thebanner is called only spins and horses.....

awesome, cheers Jon!

same with football etc

i think regular betting habits help out with bookie accounts but I know it's not a 'one size fits all' when it comes to keeping accounts open

I'm just getting to the point where I'm going to start reloads. I've already done a couple of mug bets with one's where I took a fair bit from the sign up

All you can really do with mug bets is accept you have to do them, use the tools to get the lowest qualifying loss you can! So with races I use Match Catcher and get the QL down to a few pence. Accas are a good way to mug for footy as well

Got a free £10 accumulator bet on Mr Green (3+ selections). Any tips on how I increase my odds of winning on the exchange without making the liability huge? I don't like Mr Green's £1.00 fee for withdrawals :(

It's going to be my first sequential lay bet

@Elijah - I'm not currently with Mr Green but one option could be to try one of the 'ready-made' acca lay bets at the Exchanges as they sometimes get close odds with the bookie offers.

There are quite a few 3 selection ones on Sm and MB currently for Saturday:

You would need to check the odds off against Mr Green to see if there are any close ones.

Alternatively just do a normal sequential lay bet :)

Hey guys, I didn’t want to start a new thread for this question, I’ve nosed around and hope this is the best place to post.

I started MB 2 years ago. I started with £45 and built up to £200. Had a family crisis and had to withdraw my £200 to pay for something!! :-(

I’d only been doing the sign up offers and had done, just under half of them on PA.

I’d like to re-start MBing, should I wait and save the £200 to put back in my pot or can I start again with, let’s say £50. Obviously this time things are stable at home and I won’t be under pressure to withdraw any money until I’ve built my pot up.

Thanks in advance, I really appreciate your help it’s been bugging me for a while now!

£50-£60 is easily enough to start with. Even more so if you've only done a handful of sign up offer!!

@SarahLillico - probably as well starting straight away, especially now that the Premier League is back. You might have to wait for winnings etc to be tranferred from bookie/exchange/bank etc but it would start the ball rolling quicker - good luck :)

Can someone explain in laymans terms what exactly this Smarkets bonus offer is all about?

Make a first deposit of £20 and they'll refund my losses up to £10 i get that.

3. To withdraw rebated funds, you must bet at least the qualifying deposit on any combination of markets within the promotional period; otherwise rebated funds will be forfeited.

When it says 'bet', it means lay aswell right? Or do I have to back something

You just need to use your deposited funds, so lay bets count. Just use Smarkets to lay your bets as usual.
