Looking at all the games that got announced today for Boxing Day on amazon prime I’m expecting the day to be full of offers as it seems a pretty big deal / people stuck at home in front of the tv!!
Best get me Xmas shopping done then....MAX

You would think, but then only if you have a subscription. So now you need Sky AND BT Sport AND amazon to watch PL footy..... where will it end......

Luckily I am still due a 'free trial' of prime so will use that for both Next Day for Xmas prezzies and the footy, but if they continue this 'experiment' (in paying footballers and the scumbags like Alan Sugar huge amounts of cash - a lot of it in backhanders) to try and rip us off even more, I will have to upgrade the Kodi box and watch it there.

Would have been a good one for B365 too but they seem to favour the champions league for their offer.

There is still 2up, of course.

Hiya guys...Can anyone tell us what Betfair are charging at the moment % etc...MAX

Standard exchange commission is currently 5%

Have you got an account with them & have you been asked to select which package you wish to take going??

With Betfair some people have been offered a 'Betfair Rewards' option between 3 x different packages.

1) Basic Package, 2% commission
2) Rewards Package, 5% commission, various rewards
3) Rewards + Package, 8% commission, various rewards.

For 2 and 3 packages you need to place at least 20 Exchange bets each month.

It depends on how you currently use it and what bonuses you get as to which one to opt for.

**IF YOU DO NOT CHOOSE A PACKAGE BY THE 22nd OCT - TODAY - YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE ENROLLED INTO THE REWARDS PACKAGE with 5% commission etc.**

Few matched betting related questions for you clever folk

1) am I at a massive disadvantage by not being a sports fan? I have only been back at it for a few weeks and still working through sign up offers before moving onto reloads-will I just get better at knowing about offers once I am more experienced? @Jon do you know about lots of offers being available because you are a sports fan or because you are a matched better? I know my brother does some matched betting and spends a lot of time watching football so he seems to have a better grasp, but maybe once I’ve been doing it for a while I will understand better and I’m feeling overwhelmed because I’m not at that stage yet?

2) how often do people transfer money out of their matched betting pot and into their bank account/savings etc? I’m doing matched betting because I am saving towards something in particular so am trying to work out how to balance between keeping a decent sized bank and then also withdrawing so I can see my savings pot build up.

Hope that makes sense!

In regards to your first question I wouldn't say having an interest helps you in sports. Remember that matched betting is UNEMOTIONAL - We don't care who wins or who loses, we just follow the math!

I generally leave a grand and a bit in the exchange, bookie wise I just withdraw back to my kitty bank account after I am done with an offer+mug bet

For 1) it can help somewhat when doing 2UP on the football (or 17UP/14UP on NFL) if you are actually watching the game you have bet on as it can help in deciding whether to cash out or not, but generally it isn't needed (as @Jon says)

For 2) - I gave my answer to this a few pages back here

Thanks for the replies :)

@jkg-jkg i guess it will take me time to work out what my weekly spend is with certain bookies? At the minute I do have some money in a few because my winnings went there and I haven’t withdrawn yet

If you've only just started, just take your time. Everything will come together!

Yeah think I’m beating myself up by not knowing everything there is to know even though I’m only half way through the offers on PA lol!

There's a fascinating live stream going on on Nickslots at the moment with him playing slots while talking to the head of BigTimeGaming (Megaways ec.)
