For Sky News read Fox News read (I wouldn't trust them to tell me the correct time) News. BBC earlier said (when it had already been said by the PM there would be more severe measures) "Government sources have told BBC Sport there are no plans to halt behind-closed-doors professional sport in England".

I'll wait to see an official announcement before I believe Sky News
haha

i would think the EFL at least will stop!

Breaking news on the BBC - "Professional sport in England can continue behind closed doors, despite a new national lockdown announced by Prime Minister Boris Johnson." - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/55534762

BTW Sky News have just announced that Norwich have just been promoted to the Premier League, and flights to a new moonbase to get people away from the virus will start next week.

Just been another u-turn, now Norwich have been relegated and ALL Norwich fans will have to relocate to the new moonbase. No rationale behind that decision but the Government think it will be good for moral for the rest of us during lockdown :)

Can't believe we are only 2 and a bit months away from Cheltenham!!

It will probably have a bigger TV audience than normal if everyone Is still at home in lockdown so I would expect some bombastic offers!

Might be a silly question...but would this be of any good to us in the UK, I'm guessing not but thought I'd ask....MAX

The flip side is lots of people might have had leeds in accumulators so I doubt it cost them much overall

It is the opposite, they would have loved it. The odds would have been high, but I guarantee the amount of money on Leeds would have been much higher. It's just like the Horse Racing, if the favourite wins the bookies lose money, because the odds are shortening as a direct consequence of the money being put on.
