A few weeks ago I asked Bet365, in all innocence - as you do, why wasn't I receiving free bet offers anymore or even the bet x amount to get free in play soccer bet. Clearly I had gradually slipped down the free bet offers lists from the £50's through the £25's and £10's even the £5's to the zero list. No valid explanation from them, but today I get....

Your £5 Free Bet is waiting
Enjoy a bet on us, it's completely free and ready to use on any Future Champions Day race at Newmarket on Saturday 9th October.

So perhaps I am back on a list of sorts.
Looks like you're on the "we need to try and get them betting with us again" list

Yes, you may be correct - but I want to be optimistic about these things!

@onealone Stake restricted to £4.64 so I'm guessing the account was burnt long ago?

10bet were a great bookie to look after back in the day, their VIP offers were nuts.

Last day of the racing season at York tomorrow

Very tempted to go! It's super cheap compared to the Ebor Festival!

Yes, although its been a while since the last one. I've only ever got £25 though, which reflects my betting history with them so to be expected.

I still get the occasional free bet credits too which is a nice bonus. Doesn't seem to be any pattern to when I get those.

Having just seen another one of those Free £5 bet offers from Bet365 I think I am going to disagree with myself above and say these £5 offers look like they have replaced the £50 Free in play bet offers. At least for the time being.

Matched betting is pretty much dead now. The 2005 gambling act is about to be replaced, it's not and never has been fit for purpose it was designed for telephone betting and once online gambling took off it was lumped in.

As more companies are withdrawing from the UK, offshore companies will be picking up the slack. There are many companies that are licensed under other jurisdictions that provide gambling services to UK citizens and these sites are beyond the reach of new regulations and UKGC rules. Have you been getting ' not on Gamstop ' texts? I've been deleting them defo wouldn't recommend clicking any links, if they are legit they're unregulated.

The two major factors the Gov will be looking at are taxation ( the reason most bookies have left already ) and gambling addiction and how the bookies deal with it, lots of them have already stopped or significantly reduced free bets and spins in a feeble attempt to show they take it seriously. I had 5 VIP accounts with various bookies ( Bet365 used to give me £500 free bets for their inplay football and ITV racing 4/1 offer & 10Bet gave free bets up to £1000) all of this has stopped now.

What makes you think MBing is going to die off though? I can't see bookies pulling sign up offers away or the monumental amount of offers you see around the prem, chelts, grand national etc.

This is well worth a read https://www.onlinebetting.org.uk/betting-guides/gambling-act.html especially the ' free bets & bonus' ' and ' exiting the UK ' sections.

This will give you an idea of where the companies exiting are focusing their attention https://freebets.us/

William Hill have invested heavily in the USA they have deals with all the Native American reservations ( the only place in most states where gambling was permitted until recently ) and closed their Australian operation recently too.

Bookmakers are opportunists and the USA is fresh and unregulated they'll make a killing until regs are put in place.

Some of the casino streamers I watch (Nickslots etc.) have been complaining for a while about deposit limits / lack of autospins etc. regulations coming in.

Yea there's lots of crazy regulations coming in everywhere, in Sweden you can't bet on any sport that involves a player under 18, they field a lot of youngsters in their domestic football league and lots of women's tennis matches have players under 18 too.

My understanding is that gambling firms will no longer be able to sponsor football shirts as well once the new rules come in

They've given me two to use this weekend: one for Ascot and one to use on Prem football.
I'm back in their good books.

10bet have West Ham to win both halves 4.0
They previously limited me on these boosts but have allowed me the full £10 here. Laid 3.3, but there's not much liquidity in market.

Both Paddy and Grosvenor have West Ham; Rangers and Tottenham all to win 4.5. Earlier, lay was 4.4 but when I checked to see if had improved it had lengthened , also to 4.5. So not worth bothering.

Unibet's treble: West Ham; Rangers; Olympiakos 10.0 is a little better. lay 9.6
