As I have only recently gone onto Accas for my free bets, I thought I might look back and see what I missed out on.
So for my last 100 free bets I have the following:
Free Bets £1213
Profit £896
However if I had done the above FB's as an Acca, my profit would have been more in the region of £970. So by not doing the Accas I missed out on £74.

I also looked at the profit difference in one £10 free bet for using betfair instead of Smarkets which was £0.75. So for the profits you mention that would be a £90 difference.
Overall using accas for fbs and Smarkets you're £150 better off.
Better profit, can use inconspicuous odds of 3.0/4.0, looks muggier... Big quick win.

I've a couple of Freebets to use this morning which I will probably use Acca's for.... I'll be sticking with Betfair mind you though.... I like the ease of cashing out and the whole feel of it.... Also... My Commission is currently on its way down with them... Currently down to 4.6%.... Will eventually get it down to around 2% with the amount of bets I do through there...
Yeah good point mate. If I'm doing the laying ahead of time I'll need to use betfair. And you're right the more you use them the more your commission will go down. I do prefer the website.
But I find it hard to take the profit hit short term lol!

I have always been in a bit of a dilemma about which exchange to go for. My main exchange now is Smarkets, but this mainly happened by chance. I was using both BF and Smarkets, but I had a lot of Bookie bets win and it was mainly BF that lost out. Currently my Smarket account is around £900 and £294 in BF

Made my first mistake.Had Betafir on sportsbook instead of exchange and didn't realise so ended up making no profit from my sign up free bet with 32 red. I'll be careful of that now! If a bet is void for some reason do they put the money back into your account? Its happened on a football match that's been postponed. Or does it carry forward?.

Logged into Coral... 2 £10 Free bets waiting for me... No idea why... Just mentions Good Will... I wonder if they decided the gubbing wasn't fair... lol
It should be refunded into your account.... Some bookies will wait to see if the game is replayed within either 24 or 48 hours...

I think this is probably the #1 error people make. don't fret about it. At least you are doing it during the early stages and not on a £100+ bet!

If you notice early you can lay the BF SB bet on Smarkets and then lay the original bet properly in betfair (or Smarkets)
I laid the wrong bet recently so I laid the right bet and then just found a bookie with similar odds to back the wrong bet I had laid.
Mistakes are easy to make BUT if you spot them they can almost always be rectified
