I don't bother with their £5 club thing either, as I don't see much value in that. The £25 bet is going to take a loss of £2 probably, unless you go into arbing and then the £5 free bet is likely to make a loss of 50p-£1 if you put it on a double, or more if you put it on a single. So a profit of around £2-3 in total. Then add on a couple of mugs to make it look better and that's your profit gone.
All of that is taking into account avoiding excessively high odds or gubbing-likely arbs, of course, a bit more profit could be eked out if you took more risks on the bets you place.
£2 is a pretty high loss on a £25 bet. I placed quite a few £20-25 mugs this weekend and all losses were 70p-£1. I never Arb. I was doing them quickly on my phone while away too.
If you place the £5 fb on their enhanced acca every week you'll get at least £4.50-75 from it every week.
For me it's worth pursuing
I don't see that many close matches that you can do for mugging, and I think that doing too many low odds close matches for mugs isn't favourable to the bookies either. I like to keep my mugs reasonably high because I think that mugs, offers and free bet odds shouldn't be noticeably different to each other, and it's harder to keep the loss down when doing slightly higher odds. The Skybet one seems too much to pay out/do for relatively small returns.
Everyone's different though, I find it hard to find time to do too much MBing so I'd rather focus on a few bigger things and not spend the time on the little ones. Skybet obviously is valuable for others as plenty of people do it, but I don't see the worth for me right now.
