The Skybet loyalty thing doesn't seem to be good value to me. You have to do 4 or 5 £25 bets for a few weeks, then you might get a £50 FB. So for 4x£25 for 4 weeks, you'll probably make a loss of £20-40 (5-10% of £400) and then you might get a £50 FB.

I don't bother with their £5 club thing either, as I don't see much value in that. The £25 bet is going to take a loss of £2 probably, unless you go into arbing and then the £5 free bet is likely to make a loss of 50p-£1 if you put it on a double, or more if you put it on a single. So a profit of around £2-3 in total. Then add on a couple of mugs to make it look better and that's your profit gone.

All of that is taking into account avoiding excessively high odds or gubbing-likely arbs, of course, a bit more profit could be eked out if you took more risks on the bets you place.

£2 is a pretty high loss on a £25 bet. I placed quite a few £20-25 mugs this weekend and all losses were 70p-£1. I never Arb. I was doing them quickly on my phone while away too.

If you place the £5 fb on their enhanced acca every week you'll get at least £4.50-75 from it every week.

For me it's worth pursuing :)

I don't see that many close matches that you can do for mugging, and I think that doing too many low odds close matches for mugs isn't favourable to the bookies either. I like to keep my mugs reasonably high because I think that mugs, offers and free bet odds shouldn't be noticeably different to each other, and it's harder to keep the loss down when doing slightly higher odds. The Skybet one seems too much to pay out/do for relatively small returns.

Everyone's different though, I find it hard to find time to do too much MBing so I'd rather focus on a few bigger things and not spend the time on the little ones. Skybet obviously is valuable for others as plenty of people do it, but I don't see the worth for me right now.

My first Bet and Spin - 0.45p, get in there! LOL

Does anyone have a 'technique' for these free spin things. I found it hard to keep track of when my free bonus wagering requirements had been fulfilled and can't help but think I'm missing something. Basically I just kept updating the Coral page when I thought I was getting close to watch when my balance jumped to my Cash Balance.

Do you just math your bonus into Autospins (I had £5 so that was 25 spins at lowest setting), check the new balance after 25 x wagering req and divide that by number of spins again?

Or am I missing an easier way? I liked Betfair, they actually have a little graphic thing in the game to the right that showed it as I went along.

Yeah that's exactly what I do. I either write it down or put it in an open excel window to keep track.

I make sure I note my balance before and after so I can update my log with my loss/winnings and then just spin away :)

I have my Bet & Spin to investigate too wooop

Edit - ooh £5... Cross your fingers!

Right @Danny challenge for you.

I put £1 on a fourfold combined odds of 42 odd, 3 legs won at the weekend! Last leg is tonight. If there's a draw I'll get £42.

The odds are really close for win/draw/win, all around 2.0-3.0. I could hope for a draw but then I thought.. Surely I could Dutch a home win and away win and lock in some guaranteed profit.

I know if they draw I'll get £42 profit. So if I find the highest odds on the wins and put a fiver on each I'll definitely make profit...

Couldn't you just lay the draw tonight on an exchange?

LOL.

Of course.

That would make more sense!!!!!

I wonder what I put in the calculator... Stake of £1 and odds of 42?

I guess that would give the correct amount to lay, didn't think that far through the plan tbh :p Seems like you'd guarantee somewhere between £12-£20 depending on the draw odds.

If I recall there is a problem with placing such a low lay, but there is a way round it, and I can't for the life of me think where??

Draw odds 3.35 Smarkets

Calculator says lay £12.88, liability £30.26.

Win bookie:
+£42.88 bookie including £1 stake
-£30.26 liability = £11.62 profit

Win exchange:
+£12.88 exchange lay stake
-£1 bookie stake
= £11.88 profit

Not as much as I hoped.

To lock in £11 profit or gamble my £1 for £42... Or could get nothing.

Think I'll lock in. £11 will pay for most of my mugs yesterday.

So! Happened upon new strategy for unlaid £1 accas - have last leg finishing on different day so you have the chance to lock in £10 profit from a £1 mug!!

Thanks so much @askgar!!

Woah! How did I get roped into this!

What game is your last leg on?

That's the way I would go to be honest.... Lay amount of £21ish for guaranteed profit of £19.50ish

I personally wouldn't put it to chance for a guaranteed £19....

Bet & Spin came in... Withdrawn £5.10 after wagering....

Home win 2.1, draw 3.35, away win 2.90. Anything could happen so £11 profit isn't bad :)

Defo doing this again over FA cup matches. So worth the £1 acca.. Assuming it'll probs lose at bookie too, mug mug muggy.

I'd looked at odds of 2-3, didn't try about 3 but £10 guaranteed profit off a £1 mug acca is good.

Seems a long way off when you first start.

Stick at it. I started with £100 in August 15 so nice and steady.

Once your bank builds it does get easier - one easy way to build your bank up is to do the risk free slot offers. Also the bingo ones are pretty easy but not risk free - i've just done the foxy bingo one and withdrawn £122 from £60 in and it took me about 15 minutes to do.

Thanks. Almost at £300 bank roll and I started with £60 so already I am seeing my money growing.[emoji4]

Nowt again on Coral Bet & Spin, its fixed I swear it.

Made it to £6k profit this weekend since I started even though Jan has been dire for me. Bought myself a little gift of a new camera ready for my Orlando trip. :)
